Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gerät zum Schutz des Menschen gegen besonders störende Insekten wie Stechmücken und Stubenfliegen.The invention relates to a device for protecting humans against particularly annoying insects such as mosquitoes and houseflies.
Stechmücken (Culicidae) haben die Eigenschaft, daß sie bei geöffnetem Fenster in Wohnräume einfliegen, sich an Wandflächen niederlassen, um dann im Schutz der Nacht die schlafenden Bewohner entweder durch ihr Fluggeräusch zu wecken oder unbemerkt zu stechen. Angelockt und geleitet werden sie dabei durch Wärmekonvektion, Feuchtigkeit, CO2, sowie durch verschiedene von der Haut abgegebene Stoffe, die als Duftstoffe oder ähnlich wirken, aus dem Schweiß und Harn, &zgr;. T. aber aus dem Blut des Wirts stammen, z. B. bestimmte Aminosäuren (u. a. Tyrosin), Milchsäure, weibliche Geschlechtshormone und Hämoglobin. Das Einstechen und Saugen, auch die Speichelabgabe wird bei den Stechmücken durch unmittelbaren Kontakt von Sinnesorganen an der Rüsselspitze mit bestimmten Stoffen, z. B. Butter-. Essig-, Propion-, Brenztraubensäure (Stechen), Glukose (Saugen) ausgelöst. Die bei verschiedenen Wirtsarten, auch bei verschiedenen Individuen der gleichen Art wechselnden Faktorenkombinationen können zu ständiger oder zeitweiliger Bevorzugung bestimmter Wirtsgruppen (auch durch Gewöhnung über Generationen) führen.Mosquitoes (Culicidae) have the ability to fly into living spaces when the window is open, settle on walls and then, under the cover of night, either wake up the sleeping residents with the noise of their flight or sting them unnoticed. The combinations of factors that vary between different host species, even between different individuals of the same species, can lead to permanent or temporary preference for certain host groups (also through habituation over generations).
Daraus geht hervor, daß die zur Zeit im Handel erhältlichen elektrischen Insektenfanggeräte, die aus einer Kombination von Leuchtstoffröhre und Hochspannungsgitter bestehen oder akustische Tonerzeuger, die einen angeblich Insekten vertreibenden hörbaren Ton abgeben, zur Bekämpfung von Stechmücken absolut unwirksam sind. Wirksam sind dagegen Geräte gemäß DE 322541 2A1 (Stechmückenfalle) welche einen elektrischen Wärmeerzeuger und eine mit Geruchstoff imprägnierte, klebrige Folie enthalten.This shows that the electrical insect traps currently available on the market, which consist of a combination of fluorescent tubes and high-voltage grids or acoustic sound generators that emit an audible sound that supposedly drives away insects, are completely ineffective in combating mosquitoes. Das Anlocken wird erfindungsgemäß durch einen mit Benzin oder Gas ("Campinggas") gespeisten, nach Stand der Technik bekannten Katalysator-Ofen (4) bewirkt. Dieser erzeugt unter Abgabe von CO2 und Wasserdampf ohne offene Flamme eine flächig verteilte Wärme bei niedriger Temperatur (30 - 40 0C). Die Zündung bei Inbetriebnahme erfolgt mittels Flamme oder elektrisch. Unter Verzicht auf die Verwendung von CO2 als Lockmittel kann eine elektrische Wärmequelle, z. B. mittels PTC Heizelement oder Widerstandsfolie eingesetzt werden. Über der Wärmequelle befindet sich ein Verdampfungsraum (2). Dort wird die Luft mit Geruchstoffen angereichert. Als Geruchstoffträger (3) dient entweder ein Flüssigkeitsbehälter oder ein mit Geruchstoff imprägniertes Faser- oder Schaumstoffvlies. Die einzelnen Geruchstoffe können entweder gemischt oder auf separaten Trägern eingebracht werden, wobei die Mischung erst im Dampfzustand erfolgt. Das Mischungsverhältnis kann vom Anwender oder Hersteller so geändert werden, daß beste Lockwirkung für eine bestimmte Mückenart bei geringster Geruchsbelästigung für den Menschen erzielt wird. Die Luft im Verdampfungsraum entweicht entweder durch Wärmekonvektion direkt nach oben (Fig. 1) oder wird durch einen schwachen Ventilator (8) horizontal und durch Drehung des ganzen Gerätes auf einem langsam rotierenden Drehteller (6) in alle Raumrichtungen verteilt (Fig. 2). Die Drehgeschwindigkeit darf nicht größer als 1 /1 0 Umdrehungen pro Minute sein, damit die Insekten die Quelle räumlich orten können. Der Ventilator ist durch ein sehr engmaschiges Sperrgitter (9) gegen das Einfliegen aller Insekten geschützt. Zusätzlich kann durch einen Schwenkfuß (7) mit einem Schwenkbereich von ca. ±1 0° eine vertikale Richtungsänderung der Emission ermöglicht werden. Vor der Austrittsöffnung der Luft aus dem Verdampfungsraum befindet sich eine Fangvorrichtung (1). Diese besteht entweder aus einem nach Stand der Technik bekannten Gitter, dessen benachbarte oder kreuzende Elemente gegeneinander Hochspannung führen oder aus einer !luftdurchlässigen, klebrigen und auswechselbaren Folie.
