Description

Process for the production of wound capacitors from insulating strips The invention relates to a method for manufacturing wound capacitors from Iso-Iierstoffbän @ countries with on a soluble Isolierstoffzw @ i, interlayer, z. B. paint, applied metal coatings.

The lacquer layers on the insulating strips to be metallized are preferably used to compensate for the unevenness on the insulating strips and when using paper in particular to fill in existing pores and thereby the penetration of the finest metal particles into these pores and the formation to prevent from spikes.

When winding capacitors that are painted out. Insulating tapes be made with a very thin metal coating, z. B. also ensure that that the rollover path from the metal coating of the outer band that is on the winding mandrel adjacent inner band rests, to the lining of the inner band also over the beginning or the end of the tape in the longitudinal direction is so large that no flashovers from one surface to the other are possible. You can do this in a familiar way achieve that one folds the ends of the outer tape or that one insulating strips inserted between the beginnings and ends of the straps. Both measures are disadvantageous, because they can give rise to wrinkles in winding and in mass production cause considerable extra work. The invention has the purpose to eliminate these deficiencies, and achieved that by the fact that the intermediate layer through a solvent is removed.

Is used to paint the insulating tape z. B. a nitrocellulose varnish used, so can: this dissolved by acetone and the metallized metal layer can be removed with the dissolved paint. Polystyrene lacquer, on the other hand, is replaced by benzene or trichlorethylene dissolved. In both cases, a metal and lacquer layer is appropriate at the same time wiped away with a pad of felt soaked in the solvent or with a quickly rotating felt wheel soaked in the solvent. In both Cases it is easy to remove the metal coating and the solvent from the insulating material To be removed in such a way that the remaining metal coating is opposite the: metal-free areas is set off with a sharp edge.
