Description
Method and device for coagulating solid suspended particles in Gases by means of sound waves When standing sound fields act on aerosols the suspended particles contained in them become vibrational movements of different kinds Amplitude excited and thereby driven into the pressure knot of the standing sound field. There they accumulate, and the particles coagulated by collapse become excreted under the influence of gravitational forces. It's already suggested been to improve the coagulation by having several Schalifelfields of different shape or position of their wave structure in the same space on the aerosol can act.
This ensures that the suspended particles coagulate the Vibrations in the sound field are exposed to a greater extent than in one simple standing sound field is possible.
According to the invention, the sound is intermittent to improve the koguiatinn brought into action in the form of full sound impulses on the aerosols. This will achieves that, although in the steady state there is only a single standing sound field can form the suspended particles similar to the application of different stand. the sound fields are subjected to increased vibration forces. The sound field has to build up nicely with each new sound impulse, so that additional movements occur particularly through the walling of the wave front endure. The new method can also advantageously be applied to sound treatment apply with advancing sound fields, since the effect of the impulse front not only in the standing, but also in the advancing sound field affects the collision coagulation of the suspended particles. The individual sound impulses can be rectified; but they can also be of different types direction to act on the aerosol.
It is also advantageous to use the sound pulses in conjunction with a to use standing sound field. The impulse direction is expediently chosen so that that it coincides with the direction of the pressure node zones of the standing sound field, so that the suspended particles are initially precoagulated by the standing sound field and are collected in the pressure nodal zones as they go through the sound pulses stimulated to further oscillations in the direction of the pressure knot zones or the wave bulges will.
