Description
Wall or wall made of hollow bricks By using hollow bricks in walls or walls, the aim is to reduce the heat transfer between the wall surfaces in order to primarily reduce the heat losses to the outside to diminish. In the previously known designs, however, not all options are available used to reduce the heat transfer through hollow channels in the stones been. This means that there are often different versions of these for use Solid parts of stones that have been reached and that extend across the stone, so that when the stone is installed in the wall, large, fairly good conductive parts arise, which through the wall from the inside to the outside get lost. Because of these parts, certain heat losses occur. Will usually be the holes .in the hollow stones arranged in such a way that they are in the vertical direction extend from that surface of the stone that is in the position of use of the latter is usually turned downwards (hereinafter the underside called). But they end a little below the surface of the stone, which is usually turned upside down when the latter is used (hereinafter referred to as the upper side), which is why it is called the latter surface there is a massive continuous layer extending from the 'inside the wall extends to the outside thereof. When the top of the stone is located at a joint and carries a layer of mortar, becomes the layer that passes through increased by the strength of the mortar layer. In a wall of stones that are placed on top of each other in the specified position are therefore available for everyone massive parts going through the horizontal joint, which conduct heat relatively well and thus give rise to considerable heat losses.
The arrangement of the hollow channels to achieve an appropriate thermal insulation is of particular importance with hollow concrete blocks. Some well-known designs of hollow concrete blocks have such a high heat transfer coefficient that they are in the Walls of residential houses only in combination with special insulating layers z. B. could be used from porous wood fiber material, whereby the wall construction became more expensive.
The well-known hollow stones, which are provided with a solid layer on top are through which the hollow channels do not extend, form air cells in the wall, which are delimited from each other. In itself, this is advantageous from the point of view thermal insulation, but experience has shown that this Air cells for retaining a relatively large amount of moisture tend to deteriorate the thermal insulation.
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve the possibilities a reduced heat transfer through walls or a low one Heat transfer coefficient through hollow bricks with appropriately arranged and to utilize designed hollow channels in a better way than before, wherein from these hollow stones such. Walls are built.
Known hollow concrete blocks are provided with a plurality of rows of cavities extending in the longitudinal direction of the block from the bottom to the top, the latter being displaced in relation to one another in the specified longitudinal direction. According to the invention, the vertical end faces of such or similar stones, which are to form the butt joint surfaces in the wall, are not designed to be flat as usual, but in such a way that a majority of the cavities are open over the entire height of the end face. The end faces of the stones are thereby divided into smaller surface parts, which are separated by channels which correspond to the cross-cut cavities of the cavity rows. When joining two stones of this type with mortar, the mortar layer is divided by these channels, so that the formation of continuous joint layers is prevented. By using suitable equipment for applying the mortar, the split joint surfaces of the stones can be covered with narrow mortar strips which only cover part of the protruding joint surfaces, which further improves the thermal insulation. According to the invention, the stated principle can be applied both to stones of normal length and to stones whose length is a certain part, e.g. B. 1 / s, 1 / a, 1 / s, 1/2, 2 / s or s / 6 forms the length of the normal stone, in that these partial stones can also be executed in this way. The channels or cavities of the whole stones and the partial stones are arranged in such a way that they lie one above the other in the wall and thus form continuous channels which vent the wall.
When building right-angled corners, it is often difficult to get the To connect stones of the different layers of the wall in such a way, that a straight conclusion the wall is preserved. To make this possible, a recess can be provided in each Stone of one wall can be provided in which the neighboring stone of the other Wall fits in. The heat transfer can also be here in the same way as to the other abutment surfaces of the stones are reduced. Some examples of the application of the invention are illustrated in the drawings.
Fig. I shows part of a hollow concrete blocks according to the .Erfindung executed wall or wall in plan view, and Fig.2 shows a corresponding view the same; Fig. 3 shows on a larger scale a corner between two hollow concrete walls in plan view. In the embodiment shown, the hollow stone has nine rows of Channels or cavities are provided which extend perpendicularly from the top of the stone extend to the bottom of the same. The channels every other row are i at both ends, d. H. at 2 and 3, completely closed, while the extreme ones Channels of the remaining rows q. are open at the joint surfaces of the stone. The channels are regular and straight with parallel side surfaces and arranged in such a way that they are shifted against each other in the individual rows. The between the rows of channels located parts 5 of the stone are held together by transverse walls 6, which fill the gaps on the narrow sides of the channels. If you cut the Stones according to the cutting lines 7, i.e. parallel to the end faces and in the transverse walls 6, partial stones are created whose faces are like those of whole stones are trained. The length of the partial stones is 1/2, 1 / s, 2 / s, 1 / s or 5 / s of the length of the original stone. 'These smaller stones are especially useful as adapters of the masonry, so that this is given a straight finish on a wall can.
So that mortar does not fall into the channels of the stones when they are be walled up on top of each other and against each other, it may be useful to have a Use masonry equipment that prevents the mortar from falling.
In the butt joint of two stones io and ii, the mortar does not form a coherent one Layer, since only those parts of the face of the stones that are between, the rows of holes i, ¢ are covered with mortar tape 1.2. The mortar tapes 12- can be applied with the same device with which the upper or Bearing sides of the stones are mortared, with the mortar bands possibly can be made narrower than the protruding parts of the end faces. Through this division of the joint between the stones, the heat transfer is also in the vertical joints lowered.
The horizontal joints 14 (Fig. 2) are crossed by the hollow channels, which vertical channels running from the lower to the upper edge of the wall 15 form. Through this the wall is vented, so that the cement block is relatively kept dry and the heat transfer is kept low.
In the corner shown in Fig. 3 between two building walls of two corner stones 16, 17, which are adjacent to each other and basically have similarly arranged hollow channels, one is provided with a recess 18 corresponding to the front width of the other, one being in the plane of the wall lying end face i9 of the corner stone 16 provided with the recess 18 is smooth, while the other, walled-in end face 2o of the same stone is pierced by open channels or channels 21, which together with the neighboring stone form heat-insulating hollow channels like the other hollow channels of the stone .
The recess 18 is designed such that between the outside coming joint and the inner corner, d. H. at the angle between the insides of the Corner stones, a transverse joint 23 which forms an air layer and prevents that cold from the outside enters directly into the inner corner. Narrow bands of mortar 24, which, together with the hollow channels or grooves on the end face, air gaps Form in the butt joints are in the joint 2o as well as in the joints a2 and 23 provided. The recess 18 expediently falls into a cavity side.
