Der Fuß des menschlichen Körpers als Standfläche, als Vermittler von Bewegung und Kinetik ist bei vielen Sportarten, beispielsweise beim Skifahren, erheblichen Belastungen ausgesetzt. Dieser Tatsache sollte bei der Ausbildung eines guten Sportschuhs Rechnung getragen werden. Um überhaupt ein Skifahren zu ermöglichen, muß der Skifahrer einen Stiefel tragen, der die physiologischen Fußfunktionen zum Teil erheblich einschränkt. Es besteht eine feste Verbindung zwischen dem Körper und dem Fuß über den Skistiefel mit dem Ski, einerseits um auf den Ski Feinbewegungen zu seiner besseren Führung zu übertragen und andererseits den Fuß und damit den Skiläufer vor Überbelastungen zu schützen. Zur Erläuterung des der Erfindung zugrunde liegenden Gedankens wird auf die Zeichnungen in Fig. 1 bis 4 verwiesen. In Fig. 1 ist ein menschlicher Fuß 1 dargestellt, wobei die Region des Fußes, auf welche es in erster Linie ankommt, schraffiert gezeichnet ist und mit 2 bezeichnet ist. In diesem Bereich, nämlich der Bereich der Fußwurzel soll der Fuß im Schuh gehalten werden. Bei den herkömmlichen Sportschuhen werden in der Regel durch den Schließvorgang Drucke auf den Fußrücken ausgeübt, die auf die Fußsohle übertragen werden und diese sehr stark belasten. In diesem Bereich bilden nun die Fußwurzelknochen 3 entsprechend der Darstellung der Fig. 2 ein nach unten offenes Gewölbe. Die Fußwurzelknochen 3 selbst sind von den Fußweichteilen 4 umgeben, wie es in Fig. 3 dargestellt ist. Diese Fußweichteile 4 berühren nun beim Stand des Fußes nur auf der Außenseite den Boden; auf der Fußinnenseite stehen sie jedenfalls beim Normalfuß in Folge des Fußgewölbes nicht auf dem Boden auf. In dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 5 ist von einem Überlappschuh ausgegangen, bei welchem zwei Schalenteile sich oben überlappen. Die Schale selbst ist mit 6, die Schalensohle mit 7 bezeichnet.
