In the past, tubes for toothpaste, ointments, creams, etc. were mainly made of soft metal. When such tubes were partially empty and could not be squeezed out any further, they could be rolled up from the lower end so that the remaining tube was shorter and could be squeezed out more easily.

In recent times, however, tubes are made almost exclusively from plastic (soft plastic). With these tubes, it is not possible to roll them up permanently when they are partially empty, as the plastic - unlike tubes made of soft metal - can hardly be deformed. For this reason, plastic tubes cannot be pressed empty or can only be done with great effort and skill.

Tube emptying devices are known, such as a collecting ring for the contents of plastic tubes (utility models G 8703053.5, G 8704070.0 and G 8902711.6), a tube emptyer (G 8710618.3) or a type of press (G 8900734.4).

These known devices are either structurally complex, are partially only suitable for certain tube sizes, or do not produce a secure compression of the tube, especially when the tube walls are of different thicknesses, so that the tube contents can pass through the device, which is precisely what it was intended to prevent.

Task

The invention described below is intended to enable simple emptying of tubes of different lengths and diameters, with different tube wall thicknesses, with minimal design effort.

Advantages

The invention makes it possible to easily empty tubes of different lengths and diameters, as well as tube wall thicknesses, with an elastically springy tension member ensuring that the rollers are securely pressed together and the tube contents are thus sealed.

The tube assembly 1 consists of two tubular rolls 1 \\\m\ 2, the length of which is slightly greater than the maximum width of the tubes to be squeezed out. The rolls I and 2 can be made of metal (e.g. aluminum) or of another material.
The two rollers 1 and 2 are pressed together by an elastic tension member 3 which is pre-tensioned.

This tension member can be, for example, a strong pre-tensioned rubber band which is covered with a polyamide fabric to protect against wear and whose ends 5 are connected.

The pre-tension of the tension member 3 creates friction between the tension member 3 and the inside of the rollers 1 and 2. This friction prevents the tube emptying aid from rolling back when pressure is applied to the full part of the tube 4.
