The invention relates to a walking machine _percussion instrument in which a drive mechanism with a beater and a belt tension rolling up on the beater roller can be driven by the treadle by lifting and lowering the pedal via the axis which can be rotated on the base.

The well-known pedal machine requires a bend in the pedal for each strike and then a release of the pedal board in order to find the necessary distance between the mallet and the next strike. This means that only a limited tempo, which means a limited number of strikes, can be achieved. This playing technique does not allow the drummer to achieve a certain speed and the player's striking leg quickly tires.

The invention is based on the object of constructing a foot pedal in such a way that, in contrast to the known foot pedal, the drummer can produce one strike by bending one foot.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that separate foot machine structures are attached to the bulky columns next to each other on split axles, whereby next to the right pedal, which brings the right beater to a stop via the known drive mechanism, a crescent-shaped pedal is provided on the left cast base, which is connected by a pull rod to the drive mechanism with beater, which is also attached to the bearing axle, but the other way around. This means that the beater lever with the beater is offset by approximately 90° and the lever by 180° to the right drive mechanism.

As shown in Fig. 2, when both pedals (11,12) are pressed simultaneously, the right beater (5a) moves anti-clockwise over the axis (2a) towards the skin, and the first stop is made, while the left beater (5b) lifts off the skin in the change position, clockwise in the starting direction of the right beater (5a). The two tension springs (16a,16b) are tensioned in this position by rotating axes (2a,2b).

As shown in Fig. 3, when the two pedals (11,12) are released, the left beater (5b) moves back anti-clockwise towards the skin, creating the second impact, with the right beater (5a) lifting back from the skin clockwise to its starting position after the first impact.

The two pedals (11,12) return to their starting position, as do the tension springs (16a,16b). The foot machine is back in its resting state.

As can be seen from Fig. 4, the right pedal (11) can work independently of a known foot machine. When the right pedal (11) is pressed, the associated right drive mechanism is set in motion and only one stop is triggered.

Fig. 5 shows the pull rod (10) with the corresponding bolts (21a, 21b), which is connected via the slot of the lever (8) and the pedal (12).
