The innovation relates to a toothbrush, in particular a children's toothbrush, which has a brush handle, a brush neck and a bristle head.

Toothbrushes of the aforementioned type consist, with the exception of the bristles, of a tough, one -piece plastic with a smooth surface. Because of this smooth surface, the long, uniform brush handle is difficult to grip, especially for small children's hands, and therefore makes handling awkward. In addition, these toothbrushes are not particularly attractive for children.

The innovation is based on the task of creating a toothbrush that is particularly suitable for children, that has a good grip and that has an attractive appearance.

The stated problem is solved according to the innovation ^{in that} # a handle body made of a rubber-like plastic is applied ^to a portion of the brush handle.

Advantageous embodiments of the innovation emerge from the subclaims, whereby a particularly attractive embodiment is realized in that the handle body has the shape of a figure, in particular a stylized animal figure.

As Figure 1 illustrates, the handle body 4 is designed in the form of a figure, in particular in the form of a stylized animal figure, in this embodiment in the form of a small teddy bear.

According to various possible embodiments, the handle body can only be attached to one side of the brush handle 1. However, it is particularly advantageous if the handle body 4 covers the partial area of the brush handle 1 on all sides, as shown in Figures 1 and 2.

The grip and the incentive to use the Zalin brush is increased by the fact that the handle body 4 has one- or multi-sided thickenings, such as the thickenings 5, 6, 7 and 8 corresponding to the design of the animal figure.
