Shoe with device for correcting the foot The invention relates to
a shoe that prevents the foot from buckling inwards, inevitably the
Secures the position of the foot and prevents the abduction position. At the moment
of treading the foot passes through; muscle action on the rear portion of the
Heel bone in a supination position caused by the bevel of the posterior
outer calcaneus a leverage effect on the anterior inner calcaneus, the so-called.
Heel cornice. This affects the whole foot, as do all the bones
are directly or indirectly connected to the calcaneus. The cornice will be there
moved upwards against the talus and the so-called lock formed here, whereby
a support for the body is created and the buckling of the foot is excluded
will. The tighter the tread, the more the heel bone will hold the cornice in place
closed against the talus. Due to improper footwear, especially
when the central longitudinal axis of the shoe no longer coincides with the median line, d. H. externally
does not run between the big and the second toe, the danger arises
on that the foot cannot assume the supination position when walking and in the
lower ankle is forced to buckle; this will open the lock,
and the foot rotates to the abduction position. This is prevented if the
A firm grip is offered to the side of the foot, which keeps the lock in the normal position of the
Heel part holds.
The invention relates to a shoe with a
Device for straightening the feet, through which the foot on the outside a
from about the calcaneus to the head of the fifth metatarsal bone
extending bracket and also a counter bracket on the inside of the foot in the area
of the scaphoid bone or the calcaneus cornice. The side bracket
on the outside of the foot can be continuous or interrupted.
Furthermore, the brackets mentioned, which are made of flexible material with stiffeners
exist, connected to each other below the foot and adjustable. The connection
can e.g. B. be formed by the shoe sole itself. The brackets exist
expediently made of leather, optionally with metal reinforcements.
The foot remains in the supination position when standing and walking
and the forefoot shoe in the area of the pronation position, d. H. from the fifth metatarsal bone
along the toes is worked so far to the front over the four outer toes,
that a stretching of the toes takes place by the amount of the occurring stretching of the foot
can; there is a lateral prying off of the four toes against the first
Metatarsal bones instead.

Figs. I to 5 illustrate the individual phases of the touchdown
of a foot by footprints of a foot in which the foot bones are in the natural
Position to each other or corrected by a shoe according to the invention
are. The phase shown in Figure i illustrates the onset of occurrence
with the calcaneus with the foot in the supination position. -Of the
The foot rolls on the outside of the calcaneus over the outer metatarsal bones
to the little toes (Fig. 2). Now the load takes place over the ball of the
big toe (Fig. 3), from where the transition into the pronation position (Fig. 4) to
finally takes place to stretch the foot and the whole foot (Fig. 5) rests.
As shown in FIG. 6, the calcaneus forms i with its cornice 2 and
the corresponding opposite surface of the talus 3 above the so-called lock
4, which is represented by a thickening of the boundary lines in the drawing
is. In front of the talus are the navicular bone 5 and the metatarsal bones 6, which together
with the first two named foot bones when the heel leg cornice is tight with
coincides with the talus, d. H. when the lock 4 comes into effect, a vault
form and prevent the foot from being trodden through. The lock effect is particularly
reached on occurrence, since here, as Fig. 7 shows, the heel bone i through the im
the inclined surface 7 located at the rear is rotated somewhat in the direction of the arrow 8,
so that as a result of the leverage around the point of step 9, the heel cornice is raised
2 and thus a concern of the lock 4 takes place. With the lock 4 open, what through
Incorrect foot position can occur as a result of unsuitable footwear is the one mentioned above
Arching of the individual foot bones is not possible, so that a penetration or
Buckling of the foot occurs.
To correct the foot, so that the effect of the lock described can occur, the device according to the invention according to FIG -Lines is indicated, is adjustable and has the two legs 1i and 12 . At the end of the leg 21, a bar 14 is attached by rivets 13, which extends opposite to the running direction of the foot, namely approximately from the head of the fifth metatarsal bone to the rear area of the calcaneus. At the end of the other leg 12 is a plate 15 made of resilient material, e.g. B. made of leather, which forms the counter bracket in the area of the navicular bone or the heel cornice. The device described can be permanently installed in its entirety or in part in a shoe. It is, for example, expedient to permanently install the part that is represented by the plate 15 and the leg 12 in the shoe and to make the other part removable.
From the top view according to FIG. 9 of one located in a shoe 16
Foot 17 shows the design of the front part of the shoe, which is in the area
from approximately the head of the fifth metatarsal bone, which is indicated by arrow 18
is, up to the second toe 19, an additional space 20 for lateral prying off
which has four toes against the big toe. Also, here is the outside
Bracket 22 of the foot, which extends approximately from the arrow 18 to the arrow ei,
and the inside bracket 23, which is in the area of arrow 24, d. H. on the
Scaphoid bone or the calcaneus cornice, exerting counter pressure, is shown.
