The innovation concerns a verge covering set consisting of right and left verge stones, in particular stones machine-formed from concrete mass.

Usually, each concrete stone profile includes specially designed right and left verge stones, of which the manufacturers generally offer two versions with different leg lengths. For verge stones made of concrete, this is up to 85 mm, in exceptional cases 100 mm. But the limit has already been reached in terms of concrete technology, and the risk of breakage increases with increasing leg length.

The innovation is based on the task of creating a verge covering set with which it is possible to achieve longer leg lengths than previously possible with machine-formed concrete verge stones.

This task is solved according to the innovation with the features mentioned in the characterising part of claim 1.
The further development of the subject matter of the innovation emerges from the subclaims.

These bricks, which are also relatively resistant to breakage, can also be used to cover the counterweights required for thermal insulation, which could not be achieved with the previously achievable lengths of the sides.

The verge stones shown are designed as angle stones 1 or 2 with a roof leg 1b or 2b which is short in relation to the side leg 1a or 2a, whereby the left stone 1 has a water fold on the underside of its roof leg 1b and the right stone 2 has a water fold on the upper side of its roof leg 2b. When laying on the roof, the right stone 2 is firmly screwed to the battens on the gable side and serves as a support cam and reference line for the corresponding standard stones when laying asymmetrical or symmetrical stone profiles, which takes place from front to right to the left. For the screw connection , longitudinal holes running parallel to the side leg 23 are provided in the roof leg 2b of the stone 2; these are only indicated by their axes in the drawing.

Since the left stone 1 cannot be screwed directly to the roof batten because it rests with its butt handle Ib on the roof tile underneath, a fastening angle Ic is provided for it to be inserted into the roof batten.
