Compost incubator made from processed paper, cardboard and plastic waste for decentralized composting of separately collected and conditioned native organic waste, also in living spaces.
The invention relates to a composting device which is made in part or in full from processed waste materials and which also allows composting in living spaces. For a description of the invention, reference is made to that of the utility model G 86 07 593.7. This invention is to be seen as an extension and improvement in terms of the positive effects on the developing waste management system, in that in addition to the utilization of the organic fraction in the garbage, contributions are also made to the management of paper, cardboard and plastic waste. The combination of biological and technical processes according to the invention thus enables the solution of a wide range of waste problems in a synergistic manner.
Conversion of the native organic fraction in household waste directly at the site of generation.
2. Rückhaltung der größten Müllfraktion (25 - 50 Gew. %) vor den Risiken der Müllverbrennung »ind Ablagerung2. Retention of the largest waste fraction (25 - 50 wt. %) from the risks of waste incineration »or landfill
Increasing the chances of recycling valuable materials in waste such as paper, metals, plastics, etc. by avoiding mixing in the waste collection containers.
Economic and ecological savings by avoiding the transport of the heaviest fraction in household waste.
Creation of sensible recycling paths for paper and cardboard materials as substitutes for foams containing CFCs.
6. Beitrag zur Lösung des Altkunststoffproblems.6. Contribution to solving the waste plastics problem.
Other synergistic effects that improve the environment, such as soil improvement that go beyond the waste problem.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and is described in more detail below. Fig. 1 shows a cross section through the compost incubator with introduced composting material (2) in the composting chamber (1), which is delimited by a plastic film made of polyethylene (3) and the thermally insulated paneling (4).
At the top, the composting room (1) is closed off by the filter with a sieve-like base (13), which in turn has a soil filling (11) and the plants (12). To add and remove the composting material (2), the filter (13) is removed using the holder (14) and the thermal insulation (6) placed on top is removed and put to one side. After the composting material (2) has been added and maintenance measures, e.g. mixing the composting material, the thermal insulation (6) and the filter (13) are reinserted using the holder (14).
The composting chamber (1) is closed off at the bottom by the support grate (5). The ventilation device (8) is installed below the support grate. Drainage (9) and a collecting tray (10) underneath are provided for any seepage water that may accumulate.
Die Meßsonde (7) in der aufgelegten Wärmedämmung (6) liefert Meßwerte wie Temperatur, Feuchte usw. an die Anzeigevorrichtung(15) .The measuring probe (7) in the applied thermal insulation (6) supplies measured values such as temperature, humidity, etc. to the display device (15) .
