Eine weitere Sicherheit gegen das Fressen der federnden Bänder läßt sich erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreichen, daß auf diesen eine als Gleitschicht dienende Schutzschicht aufgebracht wird, wobei vorzugsweise Metallschichten aus Kupfer oder aus Zinkphosphat in Betracht kommen. ' Versuche mit derart federnden Bändern haben gezeigt, daß hier auch nach mehrfachem Ausbau der Bänder oder bei Gleiten der mit den Bändern gelagerten Maschinenteile gegeneinander bzw. gegen die Ringe; ein Anfressen nicht eintritt.
