Description
Gerät zum Verbinden, z. B. Verleimen, Verkleben oder Verschweißen von Gegenständen aus Holz, thermoplastischen oder anderen Werkstoffen Im Patent 858 871 ist ein Gerät zum Verbinden, z. B. Verleimen, Verkleben oder Verschweißen von Gegenständen aus Holz, thermoplastisehen oder anderen Stoffen unter Einwirkung von Wärme, die mittels eines elektrischen Hochfrequenzfeldes erzeugt wird, beschrieben. Dieses Gerät besteht im wesentlichen aus einer ortsbeweglichen Handhabe, die vorzugsweise die Form einer Gabel oder Zange besitzt, und an der die Elektroden des Hochfrequenzfeldes angebracht sind. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine besonders vorteilhafte Weiterbildung des im Patent 858 871 angegebenen Gerätes, die in der Zeichnung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt ist und im wesentlichen darin besteht, daß an der ortsbeweglichen Handhabe Überwachungsmittel zur Messung und bezw. oder Regelung der den zu verbindenden Stoffen zugeführten Wärmemenge vorgesehen sind, beispielsweise Mittel zur Messung und überwachung der zugeführten Wärmeleistung. Das. metallische Gehäuse i des Gerätes ist handgrifförmig ausgebildet und trägt mittels der Arme 2 und 3 die Hochfrequenzfeldelektroden 4 und 5. Der Arm 3 ist am Gehäuse gelenkig angebracht und kann mittels des Handhebels 6 entgegen einer Feder 7 bewegt werden. Die Teile i, 2, 3, 5 und 6 liegen an Erde und sind über die leitende Hülle des leicht beweglichen Zuführungskabels 8 an einen Pol der Hochfrequenzenergiequelle angeschlossen. Am zweiten Pol der Hoc'hfrequenzquelle liegt dieKabelseele 9, die in einem zylindrischen Körper io frei endet. Der Körper io besteht aus einem Material hoher Dielektrizitätskonstante und geringen Dipolverlustwinkels und ist von einer metallischen Hülse i i umgeben, an die mittels der Leitung 12 die Elektrode 4 angeschlossen ist. Der Körper io kann mittels der Rändelschraube 13 in der Längsrichtung verschoben werden, wodurch sich die kapazitive Kopplung zwischen 9-und ii ändert und somit die Elektrodenspannung anpassen läßt.
