Elektrische Gasreinigungsanlage Die Erfindung betrifft elektrische
Spannungswandler erzeugten hochgespannten Wechselstrom in pulsierenden Gleichstrom
umwandelt.
Electric gas cleaning system The invention relates to electric
Gas purification systems, especially those used to purify room air from tobacco smoke
etc. serve. Such room air electrostatic precipitators are mostly smaller,
Transportable devices that use the spray electrodes in order to avoid undesirable
Development of ozone from very thin wires and with positive direct current
can be fed from about 10,000 to 15,000 volts. To generate the direct current voltage
a rectifier tube is used in such systems, which
Voltage converters generated high-voltage alternating current into pulsating direct current
converts. If one pole of the secondary #, winding
of the voltage converter with the dropping electrode that is earthed in the usual way
connected and the rectifier tube into that of the other pole of the voltage converter
is placed after the insulated spray electrode, so. results here
the disadvantage that the heating coil used to supply the hot cathode. derRöhr, e
must be particularly well insulated, because between the two poles of the rectifier tube
during the high-voltage half-waves, which are called the flow of current through the tube
is blocked, voltage differences occur because the electrostatic precipitator acts as a capacitor
acts, are equal to twice the level of the secondary voltage of the voltage transformer.
If you now, in order to avoid this, the rectifier tube
in the
from: the Selcun, the transformer's output coil would switch on the outgoing end line, so-
would in turn result in the disadvantage that with the .der rectifier tube
Blocked half-waves on the cathode side of the rectifier tube with respect to earth
Voltage differences occur, which, since the electrostatic precipitator acts like a capacitor,
are equal to twice the voltage of the secondary coil of the voltage converter.
This üelsroand is eliminated according to the invention as by that when you turn on the rectifier tube in .the of the high voltage source, z. B. a high-voltage converter, after the line leading to the impact electrodes, the positive spray electrodes are connected to the grounded pole .der high-voltage source. This has the particular advantage that both the secondary winding of the high-voltage converter and the hot cathode of the rectifier tube and its heating and: also .the anode of the rectifier tube to earth no higher voltage differences than the voltage supplied by the voltage converter, e.g. B. about ioooo to 15,000 volts, can assume. In addition, with such excavation of the electrostatic precipitator, another advantage is achieved, that simple, per se known wiping devices for cleaning the grounded spray electrodes. can be used, the z. B. can consist of a comb-like cross member, which is not insulated by a rod protruding from the filter housing. needs, can be operated conveniently and safely by any layperson.
