Die neue Vorrichtung bewirkt das Pressen eines entsprechenden Eisen- oder Stahlstückes im warmen Zustande und das darauf folgende Durchstofsen eines oder mehrerer in den rohrförmigen Theilen stehen gebliebener Treibböden. Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsform der Stanzvorrichtung dargestellt, durch welche T-förmige Stücke hergestellt werden. Für die Herstellung von Kreuzstücken, Eckstücken u. s. w. wird eine entsprechend anders gestaltete Prefsvorrichtung verwendet. In einer Gesenkplatte α ist eine zweitheilige Matrize b b1 mit dem Kernstück 62 bezw. mit einem solchen b3 eingesetzt. Die Matrize ist so angeordnet, dafs zwischen dieser und dem Stempel c und dem Kernstück ein entsprechender Raum frei Heibt, welcher beim Niederdrücken des Stempels durch das zu verarbeitende Eisen oder den Stahl gefüllt wird; nun bleibt zwischen dem Stempel c und dem Kernstück b3 oder dem Boden der Matrize das überflüssige Material stehen und bildet einen Boden, welcher später noch durch eine besondere Vorrichtung herausgestofsen wird. Das Herausstofsen des Bodens kann aber auch durch dieselbe Stanzvorrichtung geschehen. Nach dem Pressen des Stückes wird ein sich durch eine geeignete Vorrichtung in senkrechter Richtung bewegender Stempel in die Matrize eingeführt, dessen Durchmesser dem inneren Durchmesser des hohlzugestaltenden Verbindungsstückes entspricht. Soll das fertig gestellte Verbindungsstück herausgenommen werden, so wird nach dem Hochgehen, des Stempels die Platte d, welche in der Prismenführung f gehalten wird, verschoben, und es werden die beiden Bolzen g, welche an den oberen Matrizentheil stofsen, durch eine geeignete Hebevorrichtung gehoben. Dieselben drücken dabei den oberen Matrizentheil über das Kernstück b3 heraus, so dafs das hergestellte Verbindungsstück dann leicht von dem Obertheil der Matrize und von dem Kernstück gelöst werden kann. Das Arbeitsstück könnte auch durch Lösen des seitlichen Matrizentheiles entfernt werden.
