PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
The present invention relates to a cloth machine in which the tool at
Decline inevitably removed from the surface of the workpiece to be processed and only
is returned to the working position at the beginning of the working movement in order to achieve the
Avoid the tool becoming dull due to sliding on the workpiece.
In der Zeichnung ist die Anordnung beispielsweise an einer Stofsmaschine dargestellt;
ausgerüstet werden.In the drawing, the arrangement is shown, for example, on a pulp machine;
However, all other machines of similar construction can also use the device
be equipped.
The drive shaft g, which is mounted in any way in the machine frame α , carries a crank disk f (FIG. 2) which moves the push rod e which is attached to it in a radially displaceable manner. The tool carrier b runs in slide guides of the frame α and receives its Be:, movement of the push rod from e d by the aid of a double lever. and a further rod c, which in turn engages the actual tool carrier h. The latter runs in a special slide guide that forms an angle to the vertical, i.e. also to the surface to be processed. When the push rod e goes down, the slide b will only follow after the lever d has swung out so far that the upper edge of the chisel carrier h rests against the slide b ; then the steel s with its cutting edge is brought up to the piece i to be machined, whereupon the decline takes place. As soon as the crank disk f exceeds the lower dead point, the push rod e will go upwards; the carriage b will not follow directly either, but the lever d will first swing out again, the rod c descending and consequently the chisel carrier h moving so that the steel s is removed from the workpiece i; only then does the slide move upwards b. The movement of the tool carrier h to its slide b is limited in a suitable manner by stop pins or the like on the lever d or at another suitable location.
