Necessity and application of my invention! Dear Sir or Madam!

In order to make the necessity of my invention understandable to you, I must first explain the field of application.

It is well known that dogs are the number one pet in many households. According to statistics, there are around 80,000 officially registered dogs in Berlin alone.

All of these dogs represent a very personal value for the individual owner. In most cases it is a close, loyal friendship between animal and human. But it is also often the case that the dog acts as a loyal companion, taking over the leadership and protection of disabled and elderly people day after day.

There are many more examples that could be given, but one thing is certain: dogs have become a part of many families and are now indispensable.

One can safely assume that the number of undeholders will increase considerably over the years.

As beautiful as these animals are, their large numbers mean that they also pose a problem of pollution of streets and facilities that cannot be ignored (Berlin: around 50 - 60 t per day).

This pollution cannot be judged solely on the basis of visual cleanliness. A much more important point is health care.

The increasing amount of dog excrement deposited on our streets provides a very good breeding ground for germs. They can develop and spread. Epidemics can spread, which would place a burden on public finances far beyond our borders. Such a burden on the public purse would have very negative economic consequences.

15s It is therefore urgently necessary that this pollution is stopped.

However, it is not reasonable for the city or the state to take over the removal of dog ^excrement and pass these costs on to all citizens via taxes. This problem is caused entirely by the dog owners and must therefore be borne by this group.

In this case, two basic possibilities emerge

1.) The dog tax would have to be increased enormously so that a municipal cleaning service, especially for the removal of dog excrement, can be maintained.

In this case, the dog tax would, according to rough estimates, amount to more than 1,000 DM.

These costs are not affordable for many dog owners.

2.) Dog owners are legally obliged to remove any pollution caused by their dogs immediately after it occurs.

In this case, the city/state will provide sufficient containers.

The form shown in point 2 can be achieved as follows! The dog owner uses the inventions I offer.

Poop - STICK & Poop - BOX

The poop stick, in conjunction with the poop box, is a practical _and elegant tool for fulfilling the dog owner's new and important task in a clean and hygienic manner.

Application:

The K-stick is guided over the dog droppings with the K-box inserted. The hand lever h is now pulled to the handle 3. When closing, the gripper-shaped K-box picks up the dog droppings from the ground. In the end position, this K-box is firmly closed by the box lock k/5 .

The now cleanly closed K-Box can now be removed from the K-Stock and placed in a container provided for disposal.

With these inventions, I have created a clean and environmentally friendly option that is fair to all those involved and is reasonable for every dog owner in terms of cost and handling.

Puncture description and handling:

The droppings stick I developed was designed for two tasks.

1.) Thanks to a very practical and robust technology, the poop stick in conjunction with the replaceable poop box , which I also developed, enables a clean and hygienic collection of dog poop.

The dog's droppings are removed from the floor and securely enclosed in the poop box .

2.) The dung stick is also designed in such a way that it can be converted into a support stick (walking stick) with a simple movement of the hand.

This is an advantage that makes transport easier and is particularly beneficial for older people. Now to the function and handling;

By means of the hand lever ( Figure 1/ h ) , which is movably mounted on the handle ( Figure 1 / 3 ) by means of the hand lever bolt ( Figure 1 / 5 ), the push rod ( Figure 1 / 7 ) is moved in the direction of the manure stick tip when actuated via the push rod bearing ( Figure 1 / 6 ).

This movement is transmitted via the push rod linkage ( Figure 1/19 ) to the control piece ( Figure 1/18 ). The control piece ( Figure 1/18 ) transmits this movement via the two push rod linkages ( Figure 1/19 ) to the two push rods for the clamping frames ( Figure 1/9 ). This movement is transmitted via the clamping frame linkages ( Figure 1/15 ) to the clamping frames ( Figure 1/11/12 ), which are rotatably mounted in the clamping frame carrier ( Figure 1/1*+ ) in the clamping frame bearings located therein ( Figure 1/10 ).

The return spring ( Figure 1 / 8 ), which is mounted on the support tube ( Figure 1 / 1 ) between the clamping frame support ( Figure / 1^ ) and the control piece ( Figure 1 / 18 ), achieves a rest position with the clamping frame spread ( Figure 1 / 11/ 12) with an opening angle of approx. 110.

This very good accessibility means that the droppings box, which I also developed, can easily be locked into the clamping frame with its locking grooves (Figure 11/12). The droppings stick is now held by the handle (Figure 1/3) and guided over the dog droppings to be removed. The droppings box integrated in the droppings stick is then placed lightly on the floor with its gripping teeth and the hand lever (Figure 1/ k ) is pressed against the handle (Figure 1/3). This operation picks up the dog droppings from the floor and neatly seals them in the droppings box . The droppings box can now be removed from the droppings stick by applying light pressure between the box and the finger plate (Figure 1/13) and placed in a container for disposal. After the poop box has been removed, the poop stick is transformed into a walking stick.

To do this, the support telescope ( Figure 1 / 17 ) is pulled out of the clamping frame carrier ( Figure 1 / 1 k ) until it is locked in place. The clamping frames ( Figure 1 / 11 / 12 ) which are still spread apart are placed on the support telescope ( Figure 1 / 17 ) by gently operating the hand lever ( Figure 1/^) and secured by inserting the locking pin ( Figure 1 / 20 ) into the hole provided for it.

To ensure that the locking pin is always within reach, it is attached to the fastening ring (Figure 1/2) using a small chain. The fastening ring mentioned was primarily used to attach the dog's egg to the poop stick .

As a further practical addition to the '".ot - Stock , there is the possibility of attaching a small bag to it, in which 2-3 poop box inserts can be stored.
