Anordnung bei Synchronmaschinen, Umformern oder Phasenschiebern Bei
Synchronmaschinen (Motoren, Phasenschiebern), Umformern und Regelsätzen (z. B. Phasenschieber),
Arrangement for synchronous machines, converters or phase shifters
Synchronous machines (motors, phase shifters), converters and rule sets (e.g. phase shifters),
which are started up with an asynchronous starting motor is for the excitation
A separate exciter converter is often useful for the main engine. When the synchronous machine
rotates at a low number of revolutions in consideration of the operating conditions, can
you design the exciter converter for a much higher speed, so that the
The exciter is much smaller on the one hand, and the magnetic one on the other
Time constant in the excitation circuit of the excitation machine becomes smaller, so that the control processes
work with less delay. On the other hand, the independent exciter converter has
the disadvantage that in the event of a short circuit in the network, this converter comes to a standstill very quickly
comes, so that the excitation for the main engine is omitted when it
is most needed (shock excitation). There are circuits to avoid this
Known disadvantages, but they are relatively expensive.

The invention relates to an arrangement with which an independence
of the exciter converter is achieved at the mains voltage, but in the opposite
no significant additional expenses required for the known device
are. According to the invention, the start-up motor of the unit is used as a start-up
Independent asynchronous or synchronous generator for supplying the drive motor
of the exciter converter. In the event of a short circuit in the network, the exciter converter will

important for the surge excitation of synchronous machines in the event of mains short-circuits.
In the following the invention is based on the embodiment @ the
Drawing explained in more detail. The synchronous machine i of Fig.
i is controlled with the help of an asynchronous starting motor 2, in its secondary circuit
or short-circuit resistors 8 are switched on, started up. For the excitement
The synchronous machine is used by the independent exciter unit with the short-circuit armature motor
3, the DC exciter q. and the auxiliary exciter 9. This feeds
.the excitation of the machine q. via a rolling regulator io, for example from the
Voltage of the network or of the reactive power of the machine i is controlled. Of the
Short-circuit armature motor is connected to the stator winding of the asynchronous starting motor 2
connected and is accordingly started up at the same time as the starter motor.
A capacitor battery is also connected to this stator winding via the holder 5
6 can be connected. After starting up the machine i by means of the in the secondary circuit
: the motor 2 switched on variable resistors 8, the switch 5 is first closed.
Now the switch 7 is opened so that the excitation of the starter motor of the
Capacitors is supplied and the machine 2 then as an independent asynchronous generator
feeds the drive motor for the exciter unit.
Fig. 2
Instead of the drive motor designed as a short-circuit armature motor for
The exciter unit could also be used as a self-starting synchronized asynchronous motor
use, which is excited with direct current in the rotor after run-up. Fig. 2
shows such a 'circuit, where 3' is used as a synchronized asynchronous motor
trained drive motor of the exciter unit means. Its 3-phase secondary winding
is closed when starting up via the 3-phase starting resistor i i, the
Switch i2 is open and switch 13 is closed. For the. synchronized
Operation of the motor 3 ', the switch 12 is closed and the switch 13 is opened,
so that the armature voltage of the auxiliary exciter 9 is connected to the star
The rotor winding of the motor 3 'generates a direct current exciter field that turns the motor into
pulls in synchronism. The synchronized asynchronous motor can now with
sufficient overexcitation from the stator reactive current to the. disconnected from the network
Release starting motor 2; so that part of the excitement of this Masehine a now from
Motor 3 'is delivered and the capacitors 6 turn out to be smaller. With another
Embodiment of the invention is after starting up, the unit according to FIG.
3 the secondary winding of the starting motor 2 'to the DC voltage of the auxiliary exciter
9 connected, the circuit of the starting resistors i i and the synchronizing circuit
which corresponds to the circuit described in FIG. The machine 2 'works
after startup, initially as a synchronized asynchronous motor. After opening
: des- switch 7 then the starter motor 2 works as an independent synchronous generator
and feeds the drive motor 3, which is again designed as a short-circuit armature motor
The capacitors of FIGS. 1 and 2 can now be omitted entirely, since the machine 9
with consideration of the shock excitation must often be so oversized that it has the
the entire DC excitation current for the machine 2 can still be supplied. Here too is
in the event of a short circuit in the network, the independence of the exciter converter is guaranteed.
