Description

Procedure for starting and synchronizing double-fed, in with reference to the sum of the supplied frequencies of synchronously running induction motors Double-fed induction machines are like asynchronous motors built machines, their stator and rotor windings with current of a given frequency be fed from different networks or from the same network. The number of tours, with which a double-fed induction machine runs is synchronous with respect to the sum or difference of the supplied period numbers. Will both frequencies taken from the same network, so if they are equal to one another, then the motor work at a number of revolutions, which is equal to twice the value of the synchronous The number of revolutions of the simply fed motor is. The start-up and the synchronization such a motor causes difficulties because it does not by itself can achieve a high number of revolutions, in which the activation of the second frequency must be done. If it is started as an asynchronous motor, then it only reaches the synchronous one Run of the simply fed motor. In addition, he would work as a generator, so that a drive is up to twice the normal synchronous number of revolutions this circuit is practically out of the question. That's why one often uses one controllable starting motor high number of revolutions, which the induction motor, its one Winding placed on the network and the other winding is still open, on the desired one Brings the number of revolutions at which the still open winding is also connected to the network can be. However, this start-up process requires starting in idle and is therefore not applicable in those cases in which start-up under load is required will. If you wanted to use a controllable frequency converter, which is asynchronous and induction motor starting under full load one to two times the normal frequency increasing frequency presses it and thus strains it up to the desired tour value brings, then this frequency converter would have to measure itself for the entire power and it would be large and expensive and with a view to being only for starting is required, also be uneconomical.

The invention now relates to a method for starting and synchronizing doubly fed, running synchronously with respect to the sum of the fed frequencies Induction motors, which is composed of several sub-processes, and which allows the motor to operate under full load at a frequency corresponding to twice the frequency to bring a synchronous number of revolutions, then avoiding special synchronizing devices to synchronize and this using auxiliary machines which are only for half the power of the motor must be dimensioned. The new procedure exists in that the motor is initially an asynchronous motor with a connected to the network (e.g. B. stator) and a connected to a starting resistor (z. B. rotor) winding started in a manner known per se and-almost up to the synchronism of the simple Frequency is brought that then the winding switched to the starting resistor @ d is connected to an adjustable converter set to frequency 0, and that furthermore, after switching off the starting resistor, the frequency of the converter is increased to the single mains frequency, so that the induction motor then as a double The powered motor runs up to a number of revolutions corresponding to twice the frequency, whereupon the synchronization by switching over the converter fed in front Winding can be done on the network with simultaneous disconnection of the converter.

The method will be explained in more detail using the exemplary embodiment in the figure. Here M means a motor built in the manner of an asynchronous motor, one winding A of which can be connected to the three-phase network N via the switch SI-, while the other winding B can be connected to the terminals of a three-phase generator G via the switch S4. In addition, however, the starting resistor R3 is connected to the winding B, which is used to start the motor M as an asynchronous motor. The generator G has an excitation winding El fed by a direct current network via the regulating resistor Hl. The generator is driven by an asynchronous synchronous motor J, which can also be connected to the network N with the aid of switch S3. The slip rings Z of this motor are connected to the starter R4, two slip rings directly, but the third slip ring via the armature of the exciter D; which is driven by the motor J directly. In the start-up position of the lever H, both the motor M and the exciter D are unsurpassed. In the end position of the lever H, however, it short-circuits the contacts 0 and P and thus switches on the excitation winding EZ via the regulating resistor R2, so that in the end position of H the machine D and thus also the motor J are excited with direct current. The winding B of the motor M can now. but can also be connected to the network N with the help of the switch SZ, if necessary via the transformer T.

In order to start and synchronize the motor M, one proceeds as follows First you close the switch S1 and bring the motor M with the help of the starter Rs on one of the: simply synchronous close number of revolutions. . The frequency of the currents in of winding B is then equal to the slip frequency of the motor, and it can therefore the switch S4 can be safely closed. With that the still standing one is but fully excited generator G is connected to winding B. Now the starter R3 open, switch S3 inserted and lever H of starter R4 slowly brought into the end position. The engine J drives the generator, and so evolved this a voltage of steadily increasing frequency, which the winding B in such a way is supplied that in the rotor winding B the rotating field against the direction of rotation of the rotor runs. This causes the motor to assume an oversynchronous speed which is equal to is twice the value of the single synchronous when the generator frequency is the same is the mains frequency. If the generator has reached this number of revolutions, then it also runs the motor J - assuming the same number of poles - synchronous with the single frequency, and it can be synchronized in a manner known per se by excitation with direct current will. This happens automatically in the moment in which the lever H the Contact 0 connects to contact P, because then the exciter D is itself and the motor J is energized with direct current. After the motor J r jumped into synchronism is, the synchronization of the motor M requires nothing more than the insertion of the Switch S2. Incorrect switching is completely impossible if the rotor of the machine G is in the correct position with respect to the rotor of motor J. The mutual The position of these rotors can be selected, however, and so can be used when assembling these machines this fact must be taken into account. It can be achieved that in each moment the associated voltage phases of the network and the generator G exactly coincide in time and direction. If the switch SZ is inserted, then the Generator G switched off and engine J stopped. An intermediate transformer T is only required if there is no equality of voltage of the network and of the generator.

With this tempering process, one can clearly differentiate between three tempering times. In the first time when the starter ice, the motor M runs as a pure asynchronous motor, in the second time it runs synchronously with respect to the two supplied frequencies, but its number of revolutions is known to be rigid because the drive motor J of the generator G is still running as an induction motor. One could describe this operation as semi-rigid. Only after the motor J has been synchronized does the i motor M also take on the characteristic of a pure synchronous motor because its load on the supplied Frequency (if the network is large enough) no longer has any influence.

The generator G as well as the motor T deliver in this starting process only half the power of the engine M, and the engine M is still full Load brought up to speed and synchronized. Another advantage is its simplicity of synchronizing and the elimination of the usual synchronizing apparatus (Phase lamps, voltmeters and ammeters, etc.).
