Zur Führung des Henkels ist dieser Hohlkörper mit einem oder mehreren senkrechten Schlitzen versehen, die gleichzeitig bei durchsichtigen Nachtgeschirren, z. B. äus Polymethacrylsäureestern, es ermöglichen, zu beobachten, ob das auf dem Nachtgeschirr sitzende Kind mit der Verrichtung seines Geschäftes fertig ist. Des weiteren wird vorgeschlagen, den das Nachtgeschirr aufnehmenden zylindrischen Hohlkörper in seiner Höhe so auszubilden, daß das Nachtgeschirr mit seinem Rand auf dem oberen Rand des Zylinders aufliegt und so in dem Hohlkörper der Vorrichtung hängt. Hierbei kann zur Materialersparnis, besonders bei Herstellung aus Kunststoffen, .der zylindrische Hohlkörper auf seinem Umfang mit Durchbrüchen versehen sein. Zur weiteren Vervollkommnung des Gerätes ist es auch möglich, den oberen Rand des Hohlkörpers mit einer brillenartigen Platte zu versehen, die eine Vertiefung trägt, in die der Rand des Nachtgeschirres eingehängt wird.
