Degassing hose for graves

The innovation concerns a degassing hose for degassing and ventilating graves, especially those of deep graves.

Due to space constraints in cemeteries, burials are increasingly being carried out in so-called deep graves. These are up to three meters deep and therefore several burials can be carried out on top of each other at certain intervals.

Although this method saves space, it has the disadvantage that the high layer of earth from the initial burial prevents any oxygen supply to the grave and thus delays or even stops the decomposition process. This results in a certain degree of mummification of the buried person.

Reopening the grave to make way for another burial must then be done with due caution. For this reason, cemetery authorities are interested in resolving this problem. No aids have yet been found that would make ^this possible.

It is the task of the digger to find a solution that will speed up the decomposition process. This means that the grave must be degassed and ventilated. This is possible with hoses that reach from the bottom of the grave to just above the surface ^. According to the innovation, such a degassing hose consists of a flexible drainage pipe that is filled with carbon, preferably adsorption carbon, and whose ends are closed with caps.

At one end, slots are made in the wall of the drillron, the caps are made of sieve wire.

Degassing hose for degassing and ventilating graves, in particular deep graves, characterized in that it consists of a flexible drainage pipe (1) which is filled with coal, preferably an adsorption coal (2), both ends of the drainage pipe being closed with caps (4). 2. Degassing hose according to claim 1, characterized in that slots (3) are provided at one end in the wall of the drainage pipe (1). 3.
