Darüberhinaus gibt es Tuben mit kegelförmiger Spenderdüse und davon unterhalb angeordnetem Gewinde, bei denen die Verschlußkappe auf der Innenseite unten ein Innengewinde und eine daran anschließende kegelförmige Erweiterung aufweist. Eine solche Konstruktion kann entweder nur im Konusbereich abdichten - in diesem Fall ist das Gewinde überflüssig, oder nur im Gewiriebereich abdichten - in diesem Falle ist die Tube nicht im sinne eines Schnellverschlusses durch einfaches Aufstecken der Kappe verschließbar.
