Goods intake in tray form

The innovation relates to a goods holder in the form of a tray made of cardboard or the like for holding and presenting goods, whereby the tray is formed as a folding element from grooved wall parts that are assigned to one another and is designed for shipping goods and for use in sales displays.

Such designs are known as so-called trays and are filled with goods in the form of similar cans, bottles, packages or the like at the place of dispatch and then placed in appropriate sales displays at the recipient’s location. For dispatch, it is necessary to

To secure goods with additional padding to avoid damage. This individual handling of the padding is disadvantageous and, furthermore, it often interferes with the presentation of the goods, as it is not permanently assigned to the goods.

The aim of the innovation is to increase the stability of generic goods holders and to additionally ensure the security of goods via the poles.

This problem is solved according to the innovation in that at least two opposite side walls of the tray have integrated cushions, which are formed by walls arranged at a distance, and the walls are arranged approximately parallel and at a distance via connecting pieces and base flaps, whereby the cushions have cuts adapted to the goods to be picked up, which can be placed on the base flap.

The cuts in the integrated cushion not only fix the goods in place, but also secure the cushion, so that the stability of the goods holder is improved and the goods are well secured during transport.

In order to achieve a further improvement of the integrated cushion, it is proposed that the base flaps have tongues extending beyond the cushion into the receiving area for receiving goods. This increases the receiving area for securing the cushion.

The illustrated goods holder 1 is made from a cardboard blank, which includes a base surface 2, side walls 3 and side walls 4, whereby the wall parts 2, 3, 4 are assigned accordingly via grooves.

In this case, the side walls 3 are folded as a double wall over corner tabs 5 of the side walls 4 and fixed in associated receptacles 7 of the base surface 2 via insertion projections 6. The side walls 4 are connected to an inner side wall 10 via connecting pieces 9 to form an integrated cushion 8, which is continued as a base tab 11. The cushion 8 formed in this way is provided with incisions 12.
