Die technische Aufgabenstellung bestand darin, eine aerodynamisch hochwertige Tragfläche zu konstruieren, die dennoch mit geringem Aufwand auf- bzw. abzurüsten ist· Der Flügel besteht aus einem tragenden Torslonskaeten in bewährter Bauweise (Holz-Kunststoff-Leichtmetall-Gemischtbauweise) im vorderen Drittel der Tragfläche und einer mit Gelenken am Torsionskaeten befestigten Rippenkonstruktion, die dem Bespannstoff im hinteren Bereich der Tragfläche die Form gibt. Durch diese Konstruktion läßt sich die Flügeltiefe für den Transport erheblich verkleinern, wobei die gleiche aerodynamische Güte wie bei einer festen Tragflächenkonstruktion erreicht werden kann.In the possible field of application for light aircraft (e.g. hang gliders), folding wings are currently known, whose profile and surface shape change negatively at different speeds, and fixed wings that can be transported on their own.
