Vorliegende Erfindung hat den Zweck, die bis jetzt zum Trocknen von Papier, Pappen u. s. w. verwendeten gufseisernen Cylinder zu ersetzen, wodurch besonders dem Uebelstande ganz vorgebeugt ist, welcher bei Verarbeitung feiner Papiere durch Ansetzen von Rost und Schmutz an den gufseisernen. Cylindern sehr störend auf die Fabrikation einwirkt. Das bei vorliegender Erfindung zum Trocknen des Papiers zur Verwendung kommende Metallblech bietet dem Papier immer eine vollkommen rost- und schmutzfreie Unterlage. Es ist ferner zu berücksichtigen, dafs das zur Herstellung des Bleches dienende Material vollständig porenfrei ist, mag dasselbe aus Messing, Kupfer, Stahl oder anderen Metalllegirungen bestehen.The present invention has the purpose, up to now, for drying paper, cardboard and so on is completely prevented, which when processing fine papers by the build-up of rust and Dirt on the cast iron. Von dem Trockenblech III wird die Papierbahn zur Erlangung einseitiger Glätte auf das Trockenblech Uli geführt, welches ebenfalls mit Filzleitung und Filztrockencylindern versehen ist. Zur Führung des Bleches dienen die Walzen W1,. zur Führung des Filzes die Leitwalzen L1. W ist die zur Erzeugung einseitiger Glätte nöthige Filzwickelwalze.
