Description
Schmieröle Als Schmieröle verwendet man Mineralöle, fette Öle oder Gemische von beiden. Dabei zeichnen sich die Mineralöle durch besonders gute Beständigkeit aus, ohne allerdings das Schmiervermögen der fetten Öle zu erreichen. Dagegen ist für fette Öle ihr außerordentliches Schmiervermögen charakteristisch, wobei man eine geringere Alterungsbeständigkeit in Kauf nehmen muß. In ihrem Verhalten gegen Wasser zeigen sie auch nur einen graduellen Unterschied. Mineralöle sind in Wasser unlöslich und schwer emulgierbar, während fette Öle bei gleicher Unlöslichkeit je nach Konstitution und Raffinationsgrad ein gewisses Emulsionsvermögen zeigen können.Lubricating oils Mineral oils, fatty oils or a mixture of both are used as lubricating oils.
