Description
Die- Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Schweißen von Gegenständen aus thermoplastischen Kunststoffen, wie Superpolyamiden. Das'Schweißen aus diesen Kunststoffen bestehender Gegenstände bereitet dadurch große Schwierigkeiten, daß meist zuviel Material in der Umgebung der Schweißstellen schmilzt. Die Erfindung vermeidet diese Nachteile dadurch, daß die Gegenstände ganz oder in der Umgebung der Schweißstellen, wie Schweißnähte, bis auf diese selbst in Berührung mit wärmeableitenden Flächen, insbesondere Metallflächen, gebracht werden, worauf die Schweißung vorgenommen wird. Die Wärmeleiter schützen das in ihrer Nähe befindliche Material vor einer ungewollten Erhitzung. Die Größe der Wärmeleiter bestimmt sich nach der Wärmezufuhr und nach der Gestaltung der zu schweißenden Gegenstände.
