Description
Verfahren zur elektrischen Vorbehandlung von mechanisch durch Waschen von Schwebeteilchen zu reinigenden Gasen Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf die Entstaubung von Gasen oder Gasgemischen durch Waschen oder Berieseln mit Flüssigkeit. Solche Waschanlagen, die aus Rieseltürmen, Schleuderwäschern, Schlagwäschern, Naßlüftern od. dgl. bestehen, befriedigen hinsichtlich des Staubgehaltes des Reingases nicht vollständig, weil es mit den bisher üblichen Verfahren und Einrichtungen nicht möglich war, auch die feineren und feinsten Staubanteile zu erfassen und auszuwaschen. Um hier Abhilfe zu schaffen, «-erden der Erfindung gemäß die Staubteilchen, ehe das Gas in den Wäscher gelangt, einer Vorbehandlung unterworfen, durch die die feineren und feinsten Anteile dem Einfluß der Waschflii'ssigkeit leichter als bisher zugänglich gemacht werden. Diese Vorbehandlung besteht darin, daß das mit Schwebeteilchen verunreinigte Gas vor Erreichen der Waschanlage dem Einfluß einer Vorrichtung ausgesetzt wird, durch welche die Schwebeteilchen elektrisch aufgeladen werden. Diese Vorrichtung kann in einer Röntgenröhre, einem Flammenionisator, einem elektrostatischen mit einer Gleich-oder Wechselspannung betriebenen Sprühfeld oder sonst einem Gerät bestehen, das geeignet ist, die Schwebeteilchen aufzuladen. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß die Teilchen durch diese Aufladung eine erhöhte Affinität zu der Waschflüssigkeit erlangen, an die sie ihre Ladung abgeben. Auch tritt eine mehr oder weniger erhebliche Kornvergrößerung der Staubteilchen ein. Im Gegensatz zu diesen bekannten Anordnungen handelt es sich bei der Erfindung um eine Gasreinigung ausschließlich durch Waschen oder Berieseln mit der Besonderheit, daß die Schwebeteilchen vor dem Auswaschen oder Berieseln elektrisch aufgeladen werden.
