Street lights for fluorescent lamps usually consist of, one
elongated, box-shaped housing, which in a horizontal position above the street
is appropriate. In many cases they are suspended from rope spans. Therefor
a method is known where the lamp is articulated with a suspension bracket
which is clamped with both ends s on the tensioning cable. the
Thanks to the joint, the luminaire can be operated independently of the direction of the tensioning cable
can be set in the horizontal position and in the desired direction of light.
With regard to a pleasing appearance and a symmetrical shape
All in all, the suspension device is always ready for use in the middle of the lamp.
The need to have the necessary ballasts inside the luminaire housing
to install according to the existing space, but has the consequence that the focus
the luminaire does not always coincide with its center. This causes the lamp to tilt
to hang on to the S-chief. As long as the center of gravity is within the vertical support cable plane
the tendency to hang crooked can be compensated by the fixable joint
will. If, on the other hand, the local conditions require that the light is not
must be placed parallel to the suspension cable but, at an angle or even perpendicular to it :,
this is how the center of gravity of the luminaire emerges. -the . vertical support cable level out,
The inclined hanging can no longer be prevented by the joint alone,
because the wire rope moves around its longitudinal axis as a result of the resulting torque
turns. This undesirable tendency is only slowed down as the rope one
Seil sind m;it f und ä 'be,-zeichnet.
According to the invention, the inclined hanging can also be avoided in the case of an inclined hanging, as described. This is done by a corresponding design of the support bracket, which allows the center of gravity of the luminaire to be brought into the vertical szilehene. This particular design according to the invention consists in that one of the two ends of the bracket has a small, wvaagerec'liten boom with which it rests on the support cable and which allows lateral displacement: this point. The principle can be seen in Figs. 2 and 3 of the drawing, which show the lamp schematically in plan view, once with a rope running parallel and symmetrically to the lamp (Fig.2) and also with an inclined rope (Fig.3). In the middle of the light a is the attachment point b, where the bracket c is hinged. The small cross 1d indicates the position of the center of gravity of the lamp. The rope itself is represented by the dotted line e. The attachment points on the rope are marked with f and ä '. The feature of the invention, namely the boom, is indicated by a line h running at right angles to the bracket. In the position according to Fig. 2, both attachment points f and 'u are at the ends of the bracket c in the plane of the rope, as is the luminous center of gravity. In the inclined position of the rope according to Fig. 3, the center of gravity of the luminaire can only be brought into the vertical plane of the rope by pushing point g on boom k slightly outwards and fixing it there. Fig. Z and 4 show true to scale the already known bracket c in view and plan. In particular, from Fig. 4, the feature of the invention, the small boom k; visible with two possible rope positions included. In, the parallel position according to Fig.2, the rope is dash-dotted,: i, the rope position according to Fig.3, on the other hand, h, is pulled out. From Fig. 5, where the boom is shown again in its view, the clamping of the rope by means of claw l around d screw m can be seen.
