Description

With the previously known electrode system for cathode ray tubes the individual electrodes - either on several, usually two or three holding rods attached, or these were as cap-shaped elements in a ceramic tube or a calibrated glass tube inserted: The invention is concerned with or creation a very simple, securely centered and easy to assemble to produce Electrode system for cathode ray tubes. It is characterized by this; that both Anode, as well as Wehmelt cylinder from two identical, only through the attached extensions The various purpose adapted structural parts and formed by snap rings are held in two grooves of a calibrated glass tube. This is the possibility the accurate spacing and tight tolerance assembly of important electrode parts given.

The figure shows a section through the electrode system according to the invention drawn; i and ia are two identical construction elements, which are separated by two attached caps 2 or 3 are adapted to the respective purpose - and as Wehneltzyader or anode. Civilization of these two electrodes is formed in space L. Lens off. The anode and the Wehnelt cylinder are in the grooves q. and- 5 of the calibrated Glass tube 6 held by two snap rings 7 and 8.
