Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Suspensorium zur kühlenden Behandlung von Schwellungen und Entzündungen von Körperteilen gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs l.The invention relates to a suspensory for the cooling treatment of swelling and inflammation of body parts according to the preamble of claim 1.

Nach einer Leakage- und/oder Bypass-Operation des Penis entstehen in diesem Entzündungen und Anschwellungen sehr schmerzlicher Art. Zum Abfluß des Urins wird in die Harnröhre und -blase des Patienten ein Katheter eingesetzt:. Zum Abschwellen des Penis und zum Abklingen der Entzüdung muß der Penis gekühlt; werden. Hierzu wird der nicht erigierte Penis in eine Stellung gebracht, in der er aus? dem Unterleib des Patienten aufliegt. Zur Kühlung wird nun auf den Penis und den diesen umgebenden Unterleib ein mit Eis oder einer anderen Kühlflüssigkei't gefüllter tellerförmiger Beutel gelegt. Dieser Beutel hat einen Durchmesser von ca. 25 cm und faßt ungefähr 1 1/2 1 Kühlmedium. Der Eisbeutel kühlt nun nicht nur den Penis, sondern den gesamten Genitalbereich incl. Blase und auch Teile der Oberschenkel. Dadurch können beim Patienten Blasen- und Gefäßentzündungen entstehen und auch Unbehaglichkeiten in den unteren Extremitäten, da die in die Beine führenden Blutgefäße ebenfalls gekühlt werden. Diese Art der Kühlung, die sich stundenlang bzw. tactelang hinzieht, ist für einen sonst gesunden Körper nicht empfehlenswert. Daneben muß der Patient in Rückenlage praktisch bewegungslos verharren, da ansonsten der Kühlbeutel immer wieder aus seiner Position verrutscht.After a leakage and/or bypass operation on the penis, inflammation and swelling of a very painful nature occur.
