The innovation is based on the task of creating a structurally simple, quickly assembled raised floor that requires fewer footrests and supports than the state of the art, is highly resilient and offers a large capacity for cables of all kinds.

According to the innovation, the above task is solved by

a) the supports of the substructure are arranged at the same mutual distance at an oblique angle to the floor slabs and the distance between the supports is such that the floor slabs are supported several times across their underside and

b) the floor panels are connected to one another at their edges by means of known tongue and groove arrangements.

The substructure of this raised floor is structurally simpler than the current state of the art, as it requires fewer foot supports and support material. In addition, this raised floor can be installed relatively quickly, with large-format floor panels being used preferably. The high load-bearing capacity of the raised floor is ensured by the fact that each floor panel is supported multiple times on its underside by the supports, with the tongue and groove connections between adjacent floor panels preventing the panels from bending too much at the joints when under load, even where the floor panels extend between the supports. Due to the limited number of foot supports, the cavity of this raised floor also has a large capacity for cables of all kinds, which can also be laid in different directions.

Embodiments of the innovation emerge from the subclaims. At least the largest part of the raised floor contains rectangular floor panels whose length is greater than their width and the supports are expediently arranged at an angle of 4-5° to the longitudinal edges of the floor panels.

A further embodiment of the innovation is characterized in that the mutual distance between the foot supports arranged under a support or under a support line composed of several supports, with the exception of two opposite corner sections of the raised floor, is a multiple of the width of the floor panels.

If, according to a further development of the innovation, the footrests, except on two opposite edges of the raised floor, are arranged below the interconnected longitudinal edges of two adjacent floor panels, the load-bearing capacity of the raised floor is further increased.

It is advantageous if the supports are made of square tubes and several square tubes can be connected to form a support strand using built-in coupling pieces. Such support strands are required in the diagonal area of larger floor areas.

The innovation is then explained using drawings of an example. They show:

The raised floor shown in Fig. 1 in plan view has floor panels (10 and 11) which have the same width but different lengths, but are similar in structure (cross section). A covering (12) made of, for example, carpet is applied to these floor panels (10 and 11) (Fig. 4). The lengths of the floor panels (10) are equal to one another, and the lengths of the floor panels (11) are also equal to one another.

The substructure of the raised floor has a series of foot supports (13) which are placed on the relevant subfloor and are height-adjustable for leveling purposes. The substructure also includes numerous supports (15), which in the example consist of square tubes which are supported on the plate-shaped head pieces (14) of the foot supports (13) and are firmly connected to them, e.g.

by welds (15) (Fig. 2).

As can be seen from Fig. 1, the supports (15) are arranged at the same mutual distance at an angle of to the longitudinal edges (17) of the base plates (10 and 11). The mutual distance between the supports is

The floor panels (10 and 11) are connected to one another at their longitudinal edges (17) and transverse edges (18) by tongue and groove arrangements (19) (Fig. 4).

Depending on the size of the raised floor, it may be necessary, particularly in the diagonal area of the raised floor, for several supports (15, 15') or square tubes to be assembled to form a support strand. Fig. 1 shows five such support strands made of assembled supports (15, 15') or square tubes. Fig. 1 also shows that the foot supports (13) arranged under each support (15) or support strand (15, 15') are spaced apart by a large distance. The foot supports (13) are also arranged such that they are each located below the interconnected longitudinal edges (17) of two adjacent floor panels (10 or 10 and 11), with the exception of the foot supports (13) at the top and bottom edges of the raised floor shown in Fig. 1.

Claims (5)

Protection claims 1. Raised floor with a substructure made of height-adjustable footrests and supports resting on these in the form of profile tubes or rails on which the floor panels are laid, characterized in that a) the supports (15) of the substructure are arranged at the same mutual distance at an oblique angle to the floor panels (10, 11) and the distance between the supports (15) is such that the floor panels (10, 11) are supported several times across their underside and b) the floor panels (10, 11) are connected to one another at their edges (17, 18) by means of known tongue and groove arrangements (19). 2. Raised floor according to claim 1, characterized in that at least the largest part of the raised floor contains rectangular floor panels (10, 11) whose length is greater than their width, and that the supports (15) are arranged at an angle of 45° to the longitudinal edges (17) of the floor panels (10, 11). 3. Raised floor according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the mutual distance between the foot supports (13) arranged under a support (15) or under a support line composed of several supports (15, 15'), with the exception of two opposite sections of the raised floor, is a multiple of the width of the floor panels (10, 11). ■ · I
