Description

Method of drying freshly spun, washed and optionally after-treated running rayon threads In the patent 733 r77 is a process has been described in which one is used to dry freshly spun, washed and optionally post-treated running rayon threads into a freely shrunk Rayon comes by the fact that the between two inevitably driven Conveying loosely guided thread: n through a stream of warm air to form a loop blow out and let it dry. It has now been found that one is too extraordinary favorable results and a not inconsiderable simplification of the procedure by not passing the loosely guided threads through a stream of warm air blows out into a loop and @does it dry, but when you blow out the Making threads with an ordinary air stream and at the same time infrared rays of light brings about action on the threads. During a stream of warm air that pulls the threads liquid adhering to or contained in them on the surface of the thread to evaporate brings and therefore, the drying from the outside to the inside in front of you . goes,. the drying takes place by the infrared light rays through a kind of Depth effect, whereby the liquid from the inside of the threads progresses outwards. This has the consequence: that the threads dried with infrared rays in contrast to the threads that have been dried with the help of a warm air stream much softer " and are more pliable, because at least a certain degree of hardening when air-dried the thread surface is inevitable.

OF THE PATENT: Method of drying freshly spun, washed and optionally post-treated running rayon threads according to patent 733 I77, thereby characterized in that the between two positively driven conveyors are loose guided threads are blown out by a stream of air to form a loop and thereby through the effect of infrared rays can be dried.
