Description

Es ist bekannt, Faserstoff-Formkörper durch Niederschlag eines Faserstoffbreies an Siebformen herzustellen. Bei geringer Wandstärke der zu erzeugenden Formlinge entsteht erfahrungsgemäß an allen Stellen des Formsiebes ein Niederschlag von großer Gleichmäßigkeit. Bei großen Wandstärken jedoch entstehen gewisse Ungleichmäßigkeiten dadurch, daß die Fasern an Stellen von geringem Krümmungsradius die Neigung zeigen, sich in ίο lockerer Form anzuschwemmen, so daß Stellen entstehen, bei de^en ein Nachpressen oder ein Nachtrocknen nicht ohne Rißbildung vor sich geht.It is known to produce molded pulp articles by depositing a pulp slurry on sieve molds to manufacture. Die vorliegende Erfindung dient dem Zweck, diesen Schwierigkeiten auszuweichen. Entnahmeform diese Stellen entweder mittels einer von außen nach innen gerichteten Druckdifferenz, überdruck von außen oder Unterdruck von innen oder beides, oder durch mechanische Mittel nach innen eingezogen und in diesem Zustand der Trocknung zugeführt werden, die in an sich bekannter Weise entweder in einer Trockenkammer oder in einer besonderen Trockenform unter Anwendung ' geeigneter Heizmittel vorgenommen werden kann. In der Zeichnung ist in Abb. 1 und 2 ein einfaches Ausführungsbeispiel schematisch angedeutet. In Abb. ι bedeutet α ein nach außen gewölbtes Formsieb, auf welchem bei b ein Faserniederschlag angeformt ist. Bei c ist ein in vertikaler Richtung beweglicher, zum Teil in Ansicht, zum Teil im Querschnitt dargestellter Stempel angedeutet, der bei d ein mit öffnungen versehenes Formstück enthält, welches in seiner Formgebung dem gewünschten Formling in seiner endgültigen Form j entspricht. Im vorliegenden Falle handelt es sich beispielsweise um einen Gefäßboden f, der eine nach innen gerichtete Wölbung besitzt.
