Dieses Konzentrat wird zweckmäßig durch Verdünnung mit Wasser und abermaliges Abschleudern in Überlaufzentrifugen oder Separatoren von der Hauptmenge des noch darin enthaltenen Zuckers befreit. Der Rest wird dann entweder für sich allein eingedickt und getrocknet oder vor der Trocknung mit Rübenschnitzeln oder Melasse oder mit den beiden Stoffen gemischt und in dieser Form getrocknet und verwendet.
