Blöße. Das Schwelwasserdeställat wind vorher
z-vveclcmäßri:g durch Zusatz von Ammoniak. auf einen
pH-Wert von 3,5 eingestellt. Der Säuregehalt des
Schwelwasserdestillates soll zweckmäßig etwa
3o °/o, berechnet als Essigsäure, beitragen. Man
kann. dies durch geeignete Lenkung der Destillation
erreichen. Die Entkälkung wird mit 500% Flotte
im Walkfaß bei 2$ bis 3o° durchgeführt. Nach
il/astünidiger Entkälkung isst die Blöße verfallen.
Falls an den dickeren Hautstellen noch einte Rot-
färbun@g mit Phenolphthale'in auftritt, wird noch-
mals 45 g Schwelwass@endesbillait zugegeben. - Die
Blöße bleibt dann über Nacht .im Entkäl'kungsbad
liegen und, ist am nächsten Morgen vollständig
durchentkälltt. Der pH-Wert der gebrauchten Ent-
kälkungsflotte,ist 6,4.
Die mit dem Schwelwasserdestillaat entkälkten
Blößen unterscheiden sich in niichts von den, mit
bekannten. Entkälkungsmitteln, z. B. Ameiisensäure,
entkällaten Blößen. Das bisher fast wertlos:. Schwel-
wasser wird somit durch das neue Verfahren. einer
zweckmäßigen; Verwertung zugeführt.
