Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Folien und Überzügen mit matter und nicht klebender Oberfläche Kunstleder und andere beschichtete Stoffe, :die unter Verwendung von Pasten aus pulverförmigem Polyvinylchlorid und geeigneten Weichmachern hergestellt werden, zeigen in der Regel eine stark glänzende, glatte Oberfläche. Außerdem neigen diese Erzeugnisse zum starken Aneinanderhaften bei -gegenseitiger Berührung, wenn sie zur Erzielung einer guten Kältebeständigkeit einen hohen Gehalt an Weichmachern enthalten. Beide Eigenschaften, sowohl der starke Glanz als auch das feste Aneinanderhaften, werden als Nachteil empfunden, so daß der Wunsch nach beschichteten Stoffen bzw. Kunstledern mit einer matten, nicht klebenden Oberfläche besteht. Es konnte ein gewisser Erfolg dadurch erzielt werden, daß der Film nach der Ausgel_ierung mechanisch leicht aufger.auht wurde. Dazu ist aber ein zusätzlicher Arbeitsgang notwendig; außerdem ist die erreichte .Mattierung noch nicht zufriedensteilend. Das gleiche trifft für Überzüge allgemein und trägerlose Folien zu, die aus Pasten aus pulverförmi:gem Polyvinylchlorid und Weichmachern durch Aufstreichen auf geeignete Unterlagen und Erhitzen auf Gelatinierungstemperatur ohne Anwendung von Preßdruck und im Fall der Folienherstellung durch Ablösen von der Unterlage, z. Diese Paste wind :auf ein Gewebe oder eine andere Unterlage aufgetragen und bei °16o bis i70° geliert. Man erhält ein Kunstleder mit vollkommen matter; trockener, nicht klebender Oberfläche. Beispiele 15 Gewichtsteile Kieselgur werden mit g Gewichtsteilen Wasser verrührt. Die feuchte Mässe wird in tioo -Gewichtsteile einer Paste aus pulverförmigem Polyvinylchlorid und in der Wärme gelierenden Weichmachern eingearbeitet.
