Die Erfindung betrifft einen Spazierstock oder dergleichen, mit einem Schaft, der eine äußere Hülse aufweist, und mit einem Griff, der zum Herstellen einer Steckverbindung mit dem Schaft einen Steckzapfen aufweist, ferner mit einer elektrischen Beleuchtungseinrichtung, die vorwiegend in der äußeren Hülse untergebracht ist und die wenigstens eine Batterie , eine elektrische Glühbirne, einen Schalter und gegebenenfalls eine elektronische Blinkeinrichtung umfaßt. Ein solcher Spazierstock ist aus GB-PS 1 135 930 bekannt geworden. Dabei ist die genannte äußere Hülse wenigstens an derjenigen Stelle, an der sich die elektrische Glühbirne befindet aus durchsichtigem Material hergestellt. Bedient der Träger des Stockes den Schalter, beispielsweise beim Überqueren einer Straße, so leuchtet die Glühbirne auf.
