Dabei befinden sich aber .die Durchflußöffnungen in der Regel nur im Topfdeckel und werden durch Verdrehen, Verschieben usw. des Deckels oder eines Deckelteiles geöffnet und geschlossen. Demgegenüber besteht das Neue der Erfindung darin, daß die Durchflußöffnung am oberen Rand,der Topfwand vorgesehen ist. Außerdem besteht beim beschriebenen Kochtopf mit Deckel, wenn der letztere gehalten ist, keine Gefahr, daß beim Abschütten des Kochwassers einzelne Kartoffeln unter dem Deckel herausrutschen und in den Spülstein fallen, wie das bei -den meist üblichen Kochtöpfen oft der Fall ist, da bei diesen der Deckel etwas angehoben werden muß, damit das Kochwasser zwischen dem Rand des Topfes und,dem Rand des angehobenen Deckels ausfließen kann.
