whose operating voltages are derived from a fluctuating power source
Invention relates to the economical design of transmitters, their operating voltages
are generated in a power supply and work with power tubes, where the
Modulation through appropriate control of an electrode arranged on the anode side
he follows. As is known, the DC voltages taken from a power supply must
be freed from fluctuations. This usually happens through sieve and
Smoothing agents, and in many cases also stabilizing agents, which the
Free direct voltages from any periodic fluctuations of all frequencies:
According to the present invention, there is a deviation from this usual procedure in the manner that
that the fluctuation compensation of the anode operating voltage is limited to the frequencies
which are below the spectrum of the modulation frequencies. This will
the fundamental advantage gained that, according to the further invention, the modulation voltage
into the circuit arrangement provided to compensate for fluctuations in the anode operating voltage
can be coupled. So it can z. B. instead of a choke a transformer
into the anode feed line, through which the modulation voltage
in the
Anode circuit is coupled; but it can also be a throttle
can even be used as a coupling element to couple the modulation voltage:
The progressiveness achieved by the invention is particularly important
Expression if, according to a further part of the inventive concept, the operating voltages
the transmitter from disturbing fluctuations by means of a grid-controlled electron tube
be freed from the fluctuations in the output voltage of the power supply unit
proportional control voltage is controlled, and here the stabilization and
Smoothing of the anode operating voltage is limited to low-frequency fluctuations and
the modulation voltage is applied to a control grid of the electron tube, d.
H. so the compensation of the disturbing fluctuations in the anode operating voltage is
limited to frequencies that are below the spectrum of the modulation frequencies
lie, and the electron tube used to compensate for fluctuations becomes at the same time
a; used as a modulation amplifier tube.
On the basis of a schematically shown circuit diagram that shows an exemplary embodiment
shows the circuit according to the invention, the ETfindungsgedarnke will be explained in more detail.
Röhre in ihrem Leitwert geringer.
The end tube of the transmitter is labeled S and the anode
and lattice circle lying oscillation circle with K. The circuit of the transmitter itself
is not essential to the illustration of the invention. It is only important that
the transmitter tube is modulated on the anode side and the anode DC voltage from one
"Power supply device is obtained, which is connected to an alternating current source
is. These are the non-stabilized and non-smoothed voltage poles of the power supply unit
marked. With the help of a grid-controlled tube R, the anode DC voltage
freed from disturbing fluctuations. The tube R is with the help of an auxiliary tube
H automatically controlled and thus represents a controlled resistance. The voltage fluctuations
the output voltage of the power supply act on the grid of the auxiliary tube H,
as a result of the fact that the fluctuating voltage corresponds to the constant
Terminal voltage of the glow tube G is compared. The voltage at the output increases
of the power supply unit, the grid of the auxiliary tube becomes more positive relative to the cathode
and thus the anode current flowing in the auxiliary tube is greater. As a result, that will
The grid of the tube R used as a regulated resistor is more negative and therefore this one
Tube is lower in its conductance. So far is the circuit of the power supply unit
known as such. It therefore needs the individual resistors and capacitors
their meaning will not be discussed further.
The special feature of the circuit according to the invention results from the addition
the circuit through the capacitor C1 and the dimensioning of the dashed line
Switching elements W, C2. A further feature of the invention is that the modulation voltage source
M is connected to the grid of the R tube via the capacitor C1. The modulation voltage
acts exactly like that of the fluctuations in the output voltage of the power supply unit
derived voltages on the grid of the stirrer R. The aforementioned switching elements
W, C1 and C2 are now precisely dimensioned so that the fluctuation compensation is
only on the low frequencies, i.e. H. those lying below the modulation spectrum
Frequencies limited. This means that the * sender is not able to
to transmit very low modulation frequencies, because with deep periodic fluctuations
the anode voltage the stabilizing regulation is effective.
It does not require any noteworthy circuit engineering effort, such as
the circuit of the embodiment shows the stabilization to very deep
To limit the frequencies of the supply voltage fluctuations, around 50 Hz. It is therefore
easily possible, the overlying frequency spectrum, i.e. from Zoo Hz,
to transfer what is known in every respect to achieve a flawless
Speech comprehension is completely sufficient.
