Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Absperrorgan für ätzende Flüssigte - iten und Gase. Es ist notwendig, für solche Absperrorgane einen Werkstoff zu benutzen, der gegen den chemischen Angriff durch das Medium widerstandsfähig ist. Solche Werkstoffe, z. B. Glas, Porzellan, Kunststoff od. dgl., haben jedoch den Nachteil, daß sie gegen die beim Schließen des Absperrorgans von außen wirksam werdenden Kräfte empfindlicher sind als metallische Stoffe, so daß leicht eine Überlastung, des Materials ,eintritt. Man hat versucht, diese Schwierigkeit dadurch zu beheben, daß man in dem Kraftwcg zwischen Betätigungsglied und Gehäuse Metalleinlagen anordnet, die nach giebig sind und die Druckkrafte verteilen. Die Erfindung geht einen anderen Weg. Sie schlägt vor, zwischen den Absperrkörper und das Gehäuse an der den Fluß des Mediums absperrenden Stelle und an der Dichtungsstellee zwischen Gehäuseinnerem und Spindelraum Nutringnianschetten, anzuordnen, und zwar so, daß das Innere der Nut von dem TNIedium heaufschlagt wird. Hierdurch soll erreicht werden, daß der beim Schließen des Absperrkörpers auszuübende Druck in seiner absoluten Größe verringert #werden 1,#anli, weil die Nutriiigmanschetten -einmal eine weitgehendee Verteilung der Kräfte während der Übertragung auf das Gehäuse bewirkeii, wie dies in ähnlicher Weise die bekannten tun.
