Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Kugeln aus vorzugs-,ceise nahtlos gezogenen Rohren im Senkverfahren. l? rfindungsgemäß wird das Stahlrohr mit Zinkspritzguß, Hartpapier, -gewebe, -holz od. dgl. gefüllt Lind dann in auf die Größe der Kugeln abgestimmte Stücke unterteilt, Die Rohrstücke werden im Gesenk geschlagen. Infolge der Füllung drückt sich das Rohrstück beim Schlagen an die äußere Wandung des Gesenkes, wobei die gewünschte Rundung bei, %%-as wesentlich ist, gleichmäßiger Wandstärke erreicht wird. Besteht die Füllung z. B. aus Zinkspritzguß, so genügt ein Erwärmen der Kugel, um <lie Füllung durch Ausfließen zu entfernen. Der von der Füllung eingenommene Raum kann zum Durchführen einer Achse dienen, so daß sich ein besonderes Durchbohren der Kugel zu diesem Zweck eriibrigt.
