Description
Verfahren zum Saucieren von Tabak Bei der Saucierung von Tabak kommt es vor, daß die mit der Sauce zu durchsetzenden Tabakblätter sehr ungleichmäßig mit der Sauce beaufschlagt werden. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zum Saucieren von Tabak, das diese Nachteile in einfacher Weise vermeidet. Erfindungsgemäß wird der Tabak der gleichzeitigen Einwirkung von fein verteilter Sauce, z. B. in Form eines Sauceregens oder -nebels, und von hochfrequenten mechanischen Schwingungen, z. B. Ultraschallschwingungen, ausgesetzt. Ultraschallschwingungen sowie hohe Schallschwingungen mit einer Frequenz, wie sie beispielsweise mit magnetostriktiven oder piezoelektrischen Schwingungserzeugern hervorgerufen werden, haben, wie praktische Versuche bestätigt haben, die Eigenschaft, daß sie in Luft fein verteilte Flüssigkeitströpfchen, z. B. die Tröpfchen eines fein verteilten Flüssigkeitsregens oder -nebels, schnell und gleichmäßig zum Niederschlagen bringen. Durch das Verfahren nach der Erfindung wird also der Tabak zuverlässig und gleichmäßig mit der Sauce beaufschlagt. Außerdem sind die zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach der Erfindung erforderlichen Einrichtungen sehr einfach und können so ausgebildet werden, daß sich der ganze Vorgang ohne menschlichen Eingriff in vollkommen geschlossenen Behältern vollzieht. Es ist lediglich erforderlich, daß die Luft eines den Tabak und die versprühte bzw. vernebelte Sauce enthaltenden Behälters in Schwingungen hoher Frequenz versetzt wird. Zur Schwingungserzeugung eignen sich außer den bereits erwähnten magnetostriktiven und piezoelektrischen Schwingungserzeugern besonders Pfeifen, die durch einen Gasstrom, z. B. Luftstrom, zum Schwingen gebracht werden. Die Schwingungen können in einem vom Saucierungsraum getrennten Raum erzeugt und auf ersteren durch eine schwingungsübertragendeMembran weitergeleitet werden. Unter Umständen ist es auch möglich, unmittelbar die Sauce zur Schwingungserregung der Pfeife zu verwenden, und zwar derart, daß die durch die Pfeife hindurchgetriebene und dabei fein zerstäubte Sauce gleich in den Saucierungsbehälter hineingestäubt wird. Die Pfeife dient dann gleichzeitig sowohl zur Zerstäubung der Sauce als auch zur Erzeugung der Schwingungen.The invention relates to a method for saucing tobacco, which avoids these disadvantages in a simple manner.
