Damit der Kontaktdruck bei allen Kontakten ausreichend groß ist, benutzt man Kontaktfedern, auf die das Betätigungsorgan einwirkt. Die Kontaktfedern biegen sich je nach dem erforderlichen Kontaktdruck entsprechend durch. Diese Einrichtung erfordert aber oft viel Raum, der das Gerät erheblich vergrößert.
