Um sowohl am Achszapfen als auch im Trommelachslager Verschleißerscheinungen durch mechanische Abnutzung weitgehend auszuschalten, ist es zwingend erforderlich, im Trommelachslager ein entsprechendes zähflüssiges Schmier- bzw. Gleitmittel vorzusehen. Dieses Schmier- bzw. Gleitmittel ist jedoch beim Betreiben des Wäschetrockners hohen Temperatureinwirkungen ausgesetzt, da der durch die Wäschetrommel im Umluftbetrieb geförderte heiße Trocknungsluftstrom zwangsläufig auch über bzw. am Trommelachslager vorbeigeführt wird. Die Folge davon ist, daß oft schon nach kurzer Betriebsdauer das Schmier- bzw. Gleitmittel durch Eintrocknen bzw. Verharzen seina gleitfördernden tigenschaften verliert und danach die mechanische Abnutzung am Achszapfen und Trommelachslager veistärkt einsetzt. Eine weitere Folge davon ist dann die Zunahme von unangenehmen Betriebsgeräuachen während des Wäschetrommel-Umlaufes. Als Kunststoff kommt dabei ein Material in Frage, das zweckmäßig mit Glasfaser oder Kohle verstärkt ist. Die Hülse bzw.
