Refrigeration machine In refrigeration machines, in particular household refrigerators, the drive motor is often coupled directly to the compressor and installed in the gas compartment. With this arrangement of motor and compressor in a common housing, difficulties arise mainly from the fact that the drive motor is heated not only by the electrical current but also by the heat of compression of the compressor. Therefore, the windings of the motor must be dimensioned very generously so that the temperature is kept within permissible limits. This al) leads to an undesirable cost of material and to an increase in the size of the drive motor. To eliminate this. Disadvantage, it has already been proposed to cool the compressor motor 01, which is run by an oil pump in a circuit through a cooler on the @lotorwicklung. 01 , however, conducts the poor relatively poorly and is therefore not very suitable for cooling the engine.
Furthermore, it is already known to use the refrigerant itself for cooling the drive motor. For example, arrangements are known in which the refrigerant coming from the compressor is brought below the saturation point in an auxiliary condenser and is then used to cool the motor. In these arrangements, the motor housing is. designed as a double jacket, the refrigerant coming from the auxiliary condenser being passed through the double jacket for the purpose of cooling the machine. The cooling effect is, however, come very incomplete in such arrangements, 'far dfe: sioh` $ m most heated and most thermosensitive points inside the engine are cooled only slightly.
. .The present invention is based on the object of eliminating these difficulties in a motor compressor unit of refrigerating machines built into a common housing, ie bringing about effective cooling of the most heated areas inside the motor. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that, in a refrigeration machine with a drive motor built into the gas space of the compressor, which is cooled directly by the entire refrigerant coming from the pressure valve of the compressor and brought below the saturation point in an auxiliary condenser, the refrigerant is forced to run - above is introduced into the motor compressor housing and is passed directly via the winding heads through the air gap between the armature and stator of the motor into the lower part of the housing, from where it flows off to the main capacitor. The refrigerant, which is brought below the saturation point in the auxiliary condenser, is thus directly and inevitably directed to the hottest and most endangered parts of the winding and thus in an extremely effective way to dissipate the heat from the inside of the machine. . .
It should also be mentioned that arrangements have also become known in which the heated refrigerant vapor coming from the compressor is expelled in the direction of the upper end windings of the drive motor. However, this tends to result in an incidental heating of the winding heads. In addition, the cooling by wet refrigerant vapor is only slightly effective in this arrangement, especially since the cooled vapor, in contrast to the invention, is not fed to the compressor boiler in a forced manner, but with a natural gradient. - There is also the disadvantage that by the evaporation of the liquid refrigerant in the grooves of the bearings occurs a backflow through which the inflow of further chilled 01 and refrigerant vapor is prevented.
Furthermore are also. already arrangements for refrigeration machines) with built-in motor have been proposed, in which the condenser is divided into two parallel parts, one of which, called the return condenser, is directly connected to the motor compressor capsule. Of the. With this arrangement, the main part of the refrigerant enters the evaporator via the control valve, when it is condensed in the main condenser. while the smaller part of the refrigerant liquefied in the return condenser emerges directly in the direction of the housing of the drive motor. "With this arrangement, too, essentially only the motor as a whole is cooled via its housing, while the most heated and heat-sensitive areas inside the motor, such as the winding heads and the rotor and stator windings near the air gap, only marginally cooling are involved. But in other respects is imperfect especially with this arrangement, the cooling, since according to this proposal, the compressed in the compressor and thus heated refrigerant vapor is passed directly into the engine compressor case. the superheat from demRücklaufkondensator exiting liquid refrigerant therefore must first of from A cooling effect can only be exerted on the motor after part of the liquid refrigerant has evaporated and has thereby cooled the superheated vapor emerging from the compressor rschlag advantageous.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of such a refrigeration machine
shown according to the invention. The compressor r sucks in the refrigerant vapor
the pipeline 2 from the evaporator located in the cooling space 3, 4.
Wickelköpfe i i des Motors.
In the present case, a rotary piston compressor was assumed. A reciprocating compressor can of course just as well be used. With adiabatic compression, the refrigerant vapor heats up to over 100 ° C. In contrast to the known designs, this hot vapor is not blown directly into the machine boiler 5, where the motor winding would be heated up strongly, but from the pressure valve 6 through a pipe? after .dem heat exchanger 8 out. This is expediently arranged on the back of the refrigerator, where the cooling air can get better than under the cabinet lid g. In the heat exchanger 8, the refrigerant is cooled and partially liquefied. It then flows through the pipeline io into the upper part of the machine boiler 5 and there first reaches the upper end windings ii of the motor. Then it flows through the gap between the rotor 12 and the stator 13 to the lower end windings 14. In this way it cools the '.Motor in an effective manner, so that the winding temperature can be kept within relatively low limits even in tropical heat and a high operational reliability is achieved. As a result of the heat extracted from the motor, the liquid portion of the refrigerant is evaporated, and it leaves the machine boiler 5 again as superheated vapor through the pipeline 1s. In the heat exchanger 16, the refrigerant is completely liquefied in the usual way by releasing heat to the room air. From there it flows through the throttle valve 17, in which it is relaxed to the suction pressure, again to the evaporator 4, where the cycle begins again.
The advantages of the invention over the cooling with 01 are of different kinds. One oil pump is not required. The cooling surfaces can be selected to be smaller due to the better heat transfer of the refrigerant compared to the poorly thermally conductive 01. The cooling of the: motor is more even, because 01 heats up when it flows through the. \ Lotors to the same extent as it absorbs heat, so that the lower part of the motor only comes into contact with hot 01 and is therefore poorly cooled. The refrigerant that cools the engine, on the other hand, maintains the temperature it had when it entered the compressor boiler15 through the pipeline until the liquid portion has completely evaporated. The temperature differences between the engine and the coolant are therefore consistently high, and the cooling is accordingly more effective.
