Die Ansprüche dieses Gebrauchsmusters beziehen sich auf die systematische Anwendung von durchsichtigem Material als Lichtleiter und erweitert dadurch die Möglichkeit zur Darstellung von Bildern und Symbolen durch Leuchten. Herkömml icherweise werden neben der direkten Beleuchtung einer Darstellung zu Werbe- und Hinweiszwecken, etc. hauptsächlich zwei Darstellungsarten gewählt: (1) die direkte Anordnung von Leuchten in Form von Schrift und Symbol und (2) eine Anordnung von Leuchten in einem geschlossenen Gehäuse, auf dessen licbirdurutilässigen Außenscheiben Bilder oder Symbole angebracht sind.The claims of this utility model relate to the systematic use of transparent material as a light guide and thereby expands the possibility of displaying images and symbols using lights. Das Material übernimmt die Funktion eines Lichtleiters. In FIG. 1 sind die Leuchten als Leds (light emitting diodes) direkt in die Frontplatte aus durchsichtigem Material eingearbeitet. Jedoch können am Rande der Scheibe angebrachte Leuchten auch Leuchtstoff- oder Neonröhren oder dergl. sein, wenn dafür gesorgt ist, daß das Licht seitlich in die Scheibe aus durchsichtigem Material einfallen kann.( siehe FIG. 2). Die Leuchten werden seitlich am Rand des Materials eingesetzt und so mit einem Rahmen abgedeckt, daß ein direkter Lichtausfall vermieden wird. Besonders eignet sieb diese Anordnung (FIG.1/2) für eine Kombination von BiId- und Symboldarstellung. Bei einer radialsymmetrischen Anordnung der Leuchten läßt sich durch abwechselndes Ansteuern auf einfache Art ein Bewegungseindruck erzeugen (siehe FI(J. >)♦ Die Ansteuerung erfolgt so, daö mit einer zeitlichen Differenz (etwa 3oo msec) der Satz Leuchten A und B abwechselnd aufleuchten. Der wahrgenommene Bewegungseindruck ist bei dieser Anordnung nicht eindeutig: d.h., daß je nach Betrachtung die radialsytnroetrisch angeordneten Leuchter sich entweder vor, zurück oder nicVt zu drehen scheinen. Bei einer Anordnung von mindestens 3 Satz Leuchten, die in der gleichen Anordnung hintereinander angesteuert werden, ergibt sich ein eindeutiger Bewegungseffekt (FIG. 4). Die entsprechenden Leuchtobjekte eignen sich besonders zur Dekoration in Wohnräumen und Schaufenstern.
