Die Neuerung betrifft ein Gerät, daß die Arbeit beim Verfugen von Mauerwerk jeder Steinart erleichtert. Es ist aus Aluminium gefertigt und besteht aus einer Grundplatte, die den zu verarbeitenden Mörtel aufnimmt. Die Neuerung besteht darin, daß diese Platte an zwei Seiten mit je einem Aluminiumblech begrenzt wird, welches ein Abrutschen des Mörtels verhindert. Die Neuerung ist besonders geeignet für las Verfüllen von Vertikalfugen. Zu diesem Zweck wird das Gerät um 45 am Stil gedreht, so daß es V-förmig vor der Vertikalfuge in Position ist. Mit einer Fugenkelle wird dann der Mörtel vom Gerät in die Fuge gestrichen. Die Neuerung besteht weiterhin darin, daß das Gerät an einem ca. 25 cm langen Haltestil befestigt wird, der den Einsatz des Gerätes besonders unter Dachschrägen und Dachüberständen vorteilhaft macht.
