Die Flaschenversand-_: und Lagerkiste soll sowohl zum Versand von Flaschen für Wein, Liqueur, Bier, Lack u. dergl. dienen, wie auch als transportabler Wein- u. s. w. Schrank. Die Gröfse der Kiste richtet sich nach der Anzahl Flaschen, die zum Versand kommen sollen, und werden dementsprechend ein bis drei Doppelhebelverschlüsse angebracht. Die Verpackung geschieht in bekannter Weise durch Einlegen der Flaschen in die Gefache f. Diese Gefache sind, damit sie durch die runden Einschnitte und die Belastung durch die. Flaschen nicht ausbrechen können, nach der Holzfaser über Kreuz verleimt. Zu gleicher Zeit dienen dieselben aber auch dazu, der Kiste, welche durch die einander gegenüberliegenden Oeffnungen keine Festigkeit hätte, einen widerstandsfesten Halt zu geben. Die seitwärts sich einander gegenüberliegenden abklappbaren Deckel d sind mit einem Polster p, welches auf Metallfedern m ruht, versehen. Sind die Flaschen nun in die inneren Gefache eingeschoben , so schliefst man mit dem Doppelhebelverschlufs die Kiste, indem man die an den Deckeln angebrachten Bügel b in die am Verschlufs befindlichen Haken α einhängt und den beweglichen Hebeltheil um sein Gelenk umlegt, wobei sich der feste Theil in Schlitzen verschiebt und hierdurch die Bügel b einspannt (Fig. 5 und 6). Geschieht dieses, so werden sich die Polster gegen den Flaschenhals bezw. Flaschenboden fest anlegen. Hierdurch liegt die Flasche fest geschlossen und hat infolge des Polsters und der Federung durch Stofs u. s. w. beim Transport der Kiste nicht zu leiden, und ist es auch ausgeschlossen, dafs ein Kork durch Gährung abspringen kann. Für den Transport wird der Doppelhebelverschlufs, um diebessicher zu sein, mit e^;/ner Plombe oder mit einem Hängeschlofs c veisehen.
In beiliegenden Zeichnungen zeigt:

Claims

Patent claim:

A bottle shipping and storage crate, in which the bottom and lid, which are hinged to the crate walls, are provided on the inside with cushions resting on springs (p) and with locking brackets (b) , the latter being opened by inserting the same into the hooks (a) The crate can be clamped on the displaceably mounted, collapsible rail, so that the bottles, which are mounted inside the crate in a known manner, alternately in the opposite direction to each other and inserted through the openings of the central bottoms, are held in place by the pressure exerted on their neck and bottom.
