Das auf beiliegender Zeichnung abgebildete Hufeisen besitzt einen winkelförmigen Querschnitt, so dafs der waagrechte Schenkel Ct₁ dem Pferdehufe glatt anliegt, der senkrechte Schenkel a₂ aber einen Hohlraum bildet, welcher zur Aufnahme einer Filzeinlage dienen soll.
